Answer:	As long as you can get it to slide in between the headrest & the backseat. If not it will slide off. It works great, my dog figured out how to step on the seatbelt kind & unhook them so I switched to this one & it works great.
Question:	It seems to me that the bungee will allow the dog to hit the window, or the dashboard if I had to slam on the brakes. Has anyone experienced this
Answer:	You have the ability to adjust the device. I have mine where he can sit, stand, or lay down even with the bungee he would not hit the dash. I’m not sure about a larger dog. I now put my dog In The back seat
Question:	Is this suitable for a 4-5 pound toy poodle
Answer:	I would say yes with a caveat that the hardware is heavy. We used them on our almost 8 pound puppies on the way to the vet. Of course they were also distracted by the novelty of riding in the car ! The weight did not deter them from being able to move on the back seat. Do make sure you use a harness and not a regular collar.
Question:	Can the clips work in the front seat
Answer:	I read the negative comments here. Depends on your dog. I have a Jack Russell Terrier, their normal personality is to be hyper. IMO: Mine was young, but never "hyper". Unrestrained, when approaching our destination (HOW did he know), he would jump back & forth from shotgun seat to back seat. With a chest vest & this belt, he calmly sits in the shotgun seat.

Answer:	It's my understanding all vehicles in the United States have universal seat belts. There should be 3 seat belts in the back seat; one for each passenger. The clip side is best attached to your pet's vest. The flat side should fit into the latch just like the seat belt your vehicle came with. Both belts can be used together, but each seat belt must slip into an individual latch.
Question:	beinfg that strap is 22 inches long isn't that to long if you hit the brakes hard the dog will still fall on the ground or hit the dash
