Answer:	You purchased the correct size based on the information on the box - if you look at the large on Amazon you can see the side of the box. The collar is NOT supposed to be tight. You thread your dog's existing collar through the loops on the inside. It will move around but as long as it doesn't slip off over your dog's head it fits.

Question:	Wi this fit a dog with an18 inch neck
Answer:	I bought this collar for my 55 lb. 1 1/2 year old pit bull and there is plenty of "extra" room. So my guess is that it will fit. FYI - I bought this hoping that it would help to keep her calm when the doorbell rang or someone knocked at the door. Unfortunately it didn't seem to have any affect. It made her "sleepy" for the first day but then she was back to her "normal" self. I've kept in on her hoping it would eventually help but I truly have not noticed a difference. Having said that - many others have had really good results so I guess it depends on the dog.

Answer:	I have an aggressive dog as well. Please don't make the mistakes I made when first learning the E-collar and use "shocking" as a way to deal with an aggressive dog. Be sure to get proper training when using these collars. Using a stimulation (shock) on an aggressive dog when they are aggressive will be counter productive and will likely make them worse and teach them more aggression. Please, please, please get proper training when using an E-collar. They are great, useful tools, but not the way that most people use them. If you are having problems with an aggressive dog, then you and the dog likely need 99% of other types of training rather than an E-collar. After doing that work, you can then start to apply the E-collar.
Question:	Will this leave a ring around my dogs neck? I have used other pinch collars. My white dog is always left with a gray ring around his neck

Answer:	Hopefully you found an answer elsewhere, because unfortunately none of the previous answers here answered your question, but if not... I've got a collar cover (not the Weaver brand specifically, but a similar one) on mine and wound up purchasing one of the HS prongs with the quick release mechanism (the French clip, not the plastic buckle attached with nylon). This way, I could unclip as needed, without having to move the collar cover. Another option (if you have a HS collar WITHout the clip) might be to add an extra link or two, that are not covered by the cover, and unlatch from there, using a small carabiner to shorten the chain, so the collar isn't too loose. I know that is probably counterproductive to having the cover, but that's the only option I can really think of. And I'm really sorry people who admittedly had no idea what you were asking bothered to answer...
