Answer:	Sounds like there is a seller who is selling fake collars so Amazon should deal with that individual. We received an authentic collar, stamped sprenger on 2 plates and stamped Germany on the O & D rings. It is well-made! Plus, love the quick release!

Answer:	These collars come in several sizes. When you look at them you will find they are marked something like 12 in, 16 in, 18 in and 20 in. etc and which size (heavy weight, medium weight, medium and light weight). I had to buy a packet of 3 extra teeth for my Dobie for the 2.25 mm size. When you buy yours, just check the final measurement which will be marked and then decide if you need some extra teeth. Personally I always liked having extra teeth. I also tried both the medium and light weight but was able to get a better fit with the smaller 2.25 teeth. Dobies don't have thick fur to keep a pinch collar in place.

Answer:	The prongs are measured by how far they extend through the fur. When ordering a prong collar, my understanding is that prong size is determined by coat type, not neck circumference. The length of the collar can easily be adjusted by adding or removing prongs. The prongs themselves need to be the correct depth to get through the fur and slide without catching. Too short catches fur, and too long wont work properly either. My Golden Retriever also has a 17" neck and is 63#. We use a collar with 3.2 mm prongs. I remove several links to get the sizing correct. He's a little between sizes, but we make do.

Answer:	Yes you adjust by adding or removing links. A prong collar needs to be snug and right under the jaw line and behind the ears at top of neck to work as intended. If it slides down the necknits too loose. Consult with HS Sprenger website or a qualified trainer before using.

Answer:	I believe it would however I'd also order the extra links I think for about $11.00 kind of a rip I think but so is the Herm Springier 2.25mm collar. Unfortunately if you have a smaller dog this is about your only option. There seems to be plenty of competitive larger collars priced much better but not small ones.
Question:	If the 16 inch collar os for 13 inch necks, the is the 23 inch collsf for 20 inch? My dog has a 16 inch neck. What soze would he be
Answer:	Not an expert so free advice is always suspect but I'll do my best. My dog is very hairy and weighs about 45 lbs. She wears the 16" Springier and it is just barely a little snug.I believe the Herm Sprengers come in 3 sizes with the 16" the smallest. You wouldn't go wrong buying the medium one you can always take out a couple of links if it's a little big. The medium size is also a heavier link. If you can use the medium I'd consider looking at other manufacturers as they are quite a bit cheaper. I only uses the Sprenger small size because I couldn't find it in other manufacturers.
Question:	how do you put it on and take it off
Answer:	I have been putting it on and off over their head which is incorrect as that means it’s too large. You are supposed to just squeeze one of the links and slide on and off (as you do to add/remove links). I have a hand issue so cannot and therefore bought one with a buckle which I love. Also from Sprenger in stainless black. Sold my other ones to a friend who loved but didn’t have my hand problem

Answer:	Yes! It is excellent for any of the Working/Guard Dog large breed types. Still, it can be easy to adjust size as the prong are challenging to remove or add. All in all, It is a good collar.

Answer:	Will what pop off? Do you mean the little rubber ends? If so I don’t use them, my dogs hardly pull when walking with this collar. Only use collar for walking not when dog is tied outside alone.
