Answer:	It has a normal release like any other pet collar would. Never really known of a pet collar to have a "quick release" just the typical one. My lab/border collie mix did not last long with this collar. It broke within only a few weeks of owning it. I really would say that there is nothing special about. Just your basic pet collar.
Question:	i have arthritis in hands; how easy is this collar to latch and unlatch? currently have one from target and it's easy; moochie&co too tight for mee
Answer:	It is very difficult to release the clasp. I definitely would not recommend it for someone with arthritic hands. Neither my 20 year-old granddaughter or I can get the clasp to release without a great deal of effort.
Question:	What size would you suggest for a golden retriever 9 week old puppy? I want to make sure it fits snug enough that he doesn't slip out
Answer:	I'm assuming you don't have your pup yet and can't measure, so... The smallest of my Border Collie pups was 8 pounds at 9 weeks old and her collar was adjusted to between 11 and 12 inches. Given that the extra small only goes up to 10 inches and the small starts at 12 (which you'll never really get to due to the label and web overlap), I'd look for a different brand that has a size range from about 10 to 15 inches.

Answer:	I wouldn’t think this collar would cause damage. It is smooth and fur does not tangle in the clasp. My furry Bernedoodle has worn this for a year and it has been great. Also very lightweight. Colors are vibrant, love the red. Leash is dandy too.

Answer:	Well .. . my guess medium. Only because so young. Hard to predict how large she will be with weight gain in next 8 months. My recommendation to measure but buying too big will make uncomfortable fit. Medium will most likely to fit till 60 plus pounds. I measure for sure . These are very nice for the boxer breeds. Question:	Can this collar be worn all the time if its loose? And not used for walking
Answer:	I don't recommend leaving any collar on dogs if they are not supervised, especially in a crate or if there are multiple dogs and they play. The collar also doesn't have a separate ring for ID, so it is better as a walking collar. I believe they sell buckle collars as well which you could use for ID
Question:	Is the little loop attached to the tag metal or plastic? My dog shakes every morning and wakes up the baby..dont want the tags to clink as loud
Answer:	There is a piece of nylon with a plastic loop attached to the collar, but if you attach a rabies or license tag to it they will be made of metal. Believe me, they will clank against a stainless steel water bowl. The good news is it helps me monitor who is drinking and how often.
Question:	Is the collar washable
Answer:	I have washed it by hand with gentle liquid detergent and it came out nicely. I don't know if it should be machine washed, as that might break down the reflective fibers.

Answer:	My dog is a swimmer. She is in the water regularly. Collar dries fairly quickly. May stay damp for a while, an hour or so.
