Answer:	There is not a bar that supports it. Just secured on the outline of seats. I'm not finding it to be problem for me. I have my 4.5 year old who is almost 50 pounds and my daughter who is 1.5 years old that is 25 pounds. I purchased this model 5 years ago, but I still have it today (although my kids are way too big for it now.)

Answer:	I believe so. It has an adjustable handle, & once it's all together the tires add a bit of height. I'm 5'10", & I use the handle one setting above the lowest, which is pretty comfortable. But I'd be sure to check the sellers return policy before hand, just in case. I will say that I am in love with this jogger/trailer. It's a very smooth ride, & my daughter seems to love it as well. There's also little pockets inside for toys, or whatever you'd like to fill them with.
