If you out the silicone sous vide bags into some hot water it should be quite easy to open. You don't have to be afraid that the reusable sous vide bags will break. The material is really heavy-duty material and can therefore take a little hard treatment without breaking. When we use the sous vide container ourselves the first time we always put them into some hot water and they are quite easy to separate. Answer:	I have a now 100 pound Long Haired Rottweiler Service Dog. He is only 18 months old and his girth is 37.5 ". We started his training when he was a puppy in a size small to get him used to wearing just the small harness. He is now wearing the XL harness and it fits perfectly. We bought the 5" extender as Harley Marley has not finished growing yet so keep this in mind when purchasing for large/EX large breeds with long hair. ( we used the extender with the small to get the longest use out of his small sized harness) Best of luck to you. This product has held up perfect! It still looks new, no fading, no chips in the reflective bands or his patches. His bags are used solely for his water bottles and for his collapsible bowl and id tags so no heavy weight. We live in Florida so less is better. Due to the hot weather. Best of luck. Footnote: We had tried two other products. Returned both for product failure.

Answer:	Use the pictures. D ring goes toward the head. Handle on the back. Adjust the velcro fasteners for comfort of dog (snug not tight). Buckle strap under front legs also adjustable. I haven't used the shoulder strap as the handle on the back is very sturdy.
Question:	Does this offer enough torso support for a longer dog, i.e. a daschund
Answer:	I selected this vest because of its longer coverage, although mine was for an 85 lb dog, not a small dog like a daschund. It didn't exactly provide a balanced, comfortable lift for my dog, and it was not ideal for helping him stand up (his back legs were giving out), but as long as you don't plan to carry a small dog around like a suitcase, I think it would provide reasonable support to help the dog mobilize on its own and to get it in/out of the car more gently.

Answer:	A 46 inch chest?? Are you sure you have a dog, not a bear??? I bought the XXL for my lab. He weighs about 130 pounds, and he's about 36 inches around the chest. There's room to loosen it up, but I don't think there's 10 inches of extra room.

Answer:	Yes I would say so as long as you stay within the weight limit. The bag is deep enough that I can put my 13 pound chihuahua completely in the bag and people wouldn't be able to see any part of her if I wanted to. On the flip side, my dog did almost fall out one time when I didnt have her far enough in the bag and I bent over a bit to unlock a door. So the bag is secure enough if you take the proper precautions too when changing directions and the bag shifts.

That said, my husband has shoulder problems and can’t carry her this way. Yorkies have short backs and are short in height and so if you are up to carrying 14 pounds on one shoulder the dog should fit ok in the satchel.
