Answer:	I wouldn't consider it waterproof, maybe a little water resistant like a vinyl gym bag. And the top & front "door" are mesh so no definitely not waterproof, hope this help. I was a great carrier for my two cats on a cross-country flight.

Answer:	I think that it is 15 pounds. You should note that a more "compact" pet will be more comfortable in it. Towards the end of his life, my 16 pound cat dropped to just under 12 pounds but with his long legs and long body, he was still a tight fit size wise. New kitty has short legs and a compact body and is 10 pounds and has room to move around.

Answer:	It does have padding! Appears to be like a Sherpa style on the back so if you were using as a backpack there is some padding between you & your dog. I think there is padding on the bottom too, but I always have a few notebooks in there so it's been a while since I've seen the bottom, LOL! My dog doesn't seem to mind...She loves it!

Answer:	I will try to explain this. It is really easy, but it looks hard. There is a piece that is a little board with the two feet that keep the unit standing. they go towards the front of the unit. There are 2 square tubes . These go into the square holes next to the feet that help the unit stand. Unfold the unit and lay it on its back. Hold the board with the feet under it and you can see where the feet need to be in relation to the wheels. you can see them in the picture. Slide the board into the slot above the wheels and you will see that there are square holes between the wheels to receive the other ends of the square tubes that you installed on the board with the feet on it. Push the board all the way in and center it. Then pull the flap that is on the unit around and attach to to the Velcro piece on the board. This secures the foot board in place. The unit should stand up on the wheels and board now, like the picture. There should be a metal rod as well. That goes in the fabric slide pocket that is across the front of the unit to stiffen the webbing. it goes inside and is secured under the flaps on the ends. That is all you have to do. It is really easy, but hard to explain. Hope it helps you figure it out.

Answer:	This is too big to be a carry on item. But as a checked bag this case is great. I usually fly Delta and they never classify it as oversized, though you have to be careful to not pack it too heavy. Delta, for example, classifies any luggage over 52 pounds as heavy.

Answer:	I have never had to change the wheels, they roll so easy, and my dog has enjoyed this stroller., as wel as me pulling it.

Answer:	This is the best pet carrier I have ever used. I’ve never had it on my back but think it would be fairly comfortable. However what do you mean by uneven surfaces? The wheels are higher than most pet Carriers, it would go well over cobblestones but I would draw the line at rough washed gravel. The carrier would probably go okay over gravel but the gravel might tear the fabric and wheels to pieces. Personally, I wouldn’t want to take the Chance of tearing up my Gen 7 over such rough terrain.

Step 1

Your Roll Around is shipped to you in 3 parts:

1. Fabric Carrier

2. Base Plate

3. Front Support Bar

(You'll find the base plate and front support bar inside the backpack)

Lay the fabric carrier on its back. Install the base plate/wheel unit into the bottom of the carrier. With the fabric side facing out, insert the base plate’s tubes into the receptors.

Step 2

Press the base firmly into position. Then attach the loop material on the bottom of the backpack to the hook material on the edge of the base plate.

Step 3

Thread the support bar through the support pocket on the front of the carrier and secure with the hook and loop material.

(Caution: this product should not be used with seats equipped with air bags. Injury to your pet could result from this placement.)

Wheeled Carrier

Unzip the bottom or top mesh panel to place your pet inside. If needed, a safety hook is located inside the carrier. Clip the safety hook to your pet’s harness or collar. Push on the center release button to fully extend the telescoping handle. Tuck the backpack straps into the rear storage pocket when wheeling your pet in the wheeled carrier.

Pet Bed

Your Roll Around can also be used as bed. Simply unzip the top and bottom mesh panels and secure them to the center support. Lay the unit on its back.

Backpack

Push the center release button to lower the telescopic handle. Remove the backpack straps from the rear storage pocket. Adjust the padded straps so the backpack is comfortable to wear.
