Answer:	They are a straw like material, woven tightly, on brown paper backing.

Answer:	There are 10 per pack. I love these nest pads. They fit perfectly in standard nesting boxes. I went through a pack of 10 pretty quickly until I got my 6 chickens trained where to nest. Now, I think a pack of 10 would last several months, maybe a year. Of course, it depends on how many chickens/nesting boxes you have, and if you can get them not to poop where they nest. (:
Question:	How many are in this package of nest pads
Answer:	No, the way they are designed, the moisture from the hens falls through the shavings and is absorbed by a brown paper backing. The solid waste fall through the shaving too. You can shake the mat to clean out the solids but eventually you will want to replace the nesting pad. I replace my nesting pads about every 16 weeks more or less depending on my birds. I have 24 hens which use 7 nests, but as you know, hens are particular about which nest is the favorite. So that nest pad get replaced as often as 8 weeks. For me, the convenience is worth the cost.
Question:	Are they cleanable
Answer:	Sometimes I broke it off The stick and threw it to them or let them eat it from my hand. I don’t allow mine to eat it everyday as I found it would give them looser stool.

Answer:	My sun conure who I've had for 15 years has tried every kind of perch material available. I love the Rope perches. They're flexible and soft on the birds feet. Conyers chew. That's what they do. They will chew on anything. Because they chew on the Rope, I watch to see that it doesn't get too frayed. If it starts to look like a bush it's time to toss it. My sun conure has never had anything stuck in its throat. I think these purchases are a safe and sane bet for a happy bird.

Answer:	5inches on the side. My 10 lb yorkie loves it. The sides only go down if he lays his whole body across the side. It's a little bit big for him but he snuggles into it at night and brings his blanket along. It's close to a year old and I've thrown it in the washer several times. Still looks great.
Question:	from past expierences chenille falls apart in the was. how does this hold up in the washer and does the middle cushion pop out to wash
Answer:	I just washed our bed and it washed fine. I did not put it in the dryer - hung it to dry and it died over night. My dog loves it! The center does not pop out.

I would vacuum the fur out of the folds first and then put it in the wash. I have a bulk cycle and that is the one that I wash them on.

Answer:	It depends on the bar spacing of your specific cage but I believe so. It's a smaller diameter screw but stays in place well even on vertical bars when tightened. I have this for my cockatiel & it's his favorite perch. Mine too honestly, it's a fantastic perch!
