Answer:	I tried for months to get my dog to use this and nothing worked, until we used real grass. He's 7 and hasn't had an accident in the house ever so this was tricky to get him to switch to. We bought a 4x2 piece of sod from Home Depot, cut it to size and placed the real grass on top of the fake grass. For 2 days he continued to avoid peeing inside. This next part is weird so please don't judge me...since he's a male and enjoys marking I went and collected some neighbors dog poop and placed it on the grass. Like magic, he peed right on top, we gave him lots of treats and praise and he learned that it was ok to pee on the indoor grass patch. After about 4 days he was confidently using it consistently so we removed the sod and he didn't even notice. It took some work on our end but he's been using the fake grass with no issues ever since.

Answer:	YOU ABSOLUTELY SHOULD HAVE A SAFETY LINE THAT ATTACHES THE HEAD HARNESS TO A COLLAR OR HARNESS! Just do a Google search for "safety line for head harness". It is used in case your dog slips out of the head harness...your leash is now still attached to the collar/harness with the head harness hanging loosely in mid-air. Use a safety line that is long enough to not restrict your dos's head movement.

Answer:	Absolutely. Using a gentle leader promotes easier control of your dog. It is meant to be used as a training tool. Once your dog responds to your verbal commands, it is acceptable to wean them onto a normal collar and leash. I would recommend a harness or a martingale style. This doesn't put stress on your dog's neck and makes them respon easier than a standard collar.

Answer:	I say,"No Barking!" and then press the button. I don't hold it down any longer than a second. It gets their attention. Sometimes if I just show them the "clicker", they stop barking. Other times, they don't stop barking at all if they are really motivated to bark, like at a cat, or at someone walking a dog by the house. So, I've had mixed results.

Answer:	I think it probably would. The noise stops my dog in his tracks (from anxiety howling). I've noticed over time though he has gotten 'used' to the noise & goes back to making noise - just less of it. For fighting, I would probably blast them with a water bottle before this - but I think this would have a similar effect without making a mess.

Answer:	I would estimate at least 30 yards. I use it in my backyard to stop barking and it is effective at quite a distance. There are times when I just bring out the can and the barking stops.

Answer:	The most important measurement is the girth or chest size. You want to make sure you get a good snug fit. A chest size of 16"-23" is a small (15-25lbs) and 18"26" is a medium (20-50lbs). Go with the smaller size to ensure a snug fit. Hope this helps!
Question:	Has anyone used it for their dog during a road trip
Answer:	I used it for a road trip and my dog was calmer than previous road trips. She tends to get car sick, but with a Dramamine and the Thundershirt she was fine.
Question:	how do we figure if this will fit our dog
Answer:	they do run a bit small. I bought one of each size because I have multiple dogs. I have two Golden's so I bought the Large for a 70 pound dog and X-Large for a 90 pound dog and they fit great. They should be a little snug but keep in mind that they do run a little smaller. I would say they do not run a whole size smaller though.

Answer:	I think it's the same principal that Temple Grandin used to calm down cows and herself (she had autism). It applies light pressure to the chest, stomach, and back of the dog. We ordered it, after noticing that placing a wet and heavy towel on our Bernese Mtn. Dog calmed him down. The Thundershirt though, calms him immediately and doesn't get everything wet!!
