There are a few makers who have these, often with less/no stuffing so if they are chewed open there’s less mess/likelihood of the dog eating something yucky. Amazon has these categorized but you still need to read the descriptions. |

As I'm doing my twice/thrice a month mendings, I'm always commenting whoever designed this doesn't have a dog! But it's so dang cute! If you are handy with a needle and thread, get it! And I personally think the more it is mended, the cuter it gets. |

| Answer: | My dog is long legged jack Russell terrier and has a large chest and weighs 17 lbs. She has a few different Blueberry sweaters. The thicker material (the one with double layer with fleece) 14 in was tight putting it on her but it fits her body correctly once it is on, but the Blueberry sweater without fleece 14 in is a little roomy. So I think it depends on which sweater you get. |

I purchased the 10 inch for my chihuahua who weighs about 7 pounds. However, weight is not an accurate way to determine size as dogs' shapes can vary widely depending on their breed irrespective of similar weights. There is a size chart available in the item's photo section that I would recommend using to determine the size that you need. You need to measure your dog's length, neck girth, and chest girth. Then choose the size that corresponds with the least restrictive of all those sizes. Hope this helps. |
