Answer:	Be wary of lightweight litters- they've been known to cause upper respiratory problems because of dust problems. I get what you're saying about Boxiecat being heavy; it's still the best litter I've ever found. I use a handled cup as a scoop & just leave the bag in the corner. Or you could get a small lidded trashcan & transfer the litter over if you don't want an open bag sitting around.
Question:	is this product safe for 4-5 week old kittens using the litter box
Answer:	It's about 16 pounds. But I'd urge you not to compare this to another litter by weight; Boxiecat lasts longer than any litter I've used. 1 bag lasts me a month for two cats. If it's lifting the bag you're concerned about, I find it very easy to manage.
Question:	Are the crystals the same size as the litter? Does it fall through the scoop to last
Answer:	I have not found it to be hard to remove from the corners, and one of my 2 cats always pees in the corner. However, I do have a very sturdy scoop that I use. I hate the fact that the litter is so expensive, but I've noticed my cats allergies are better and it is the least dust-free litter I've ever used.

Answer:	We used Dr. Elsey's for several years. Tried Boxiecat and now won't use anything else. Dr. Elsey's seemed to get dustier with each box we bought and was very irritating to me, and made my cat sneeze, also. And the clay would clump hard on the bottom and was very hard to clean up. Boxiecat clumps right away on the surface of the litter, so you can keep the box very clean; and it creates much less dust. It's expensive but worth it, and as you can keep it so much cleaner, the litter does last longer. Great litter!

Answer:	I was buying this on Amazon (Prime) for several months at only $7.90. I wish I had ordered it every day. Then the price doubled, and I'm not sure why. I refuse to pay the new higher price, so I will either look for a new litter or hopefully find it cheaper elsewhere. Recently I found an old jug of the same brand but scented. I poured just a bit in our cat's box, and his feet and face smell like perfume for hours after going in there. HORRIBLE--that cannot be good for him! We poured it into another box and are airing it out in another room, hoping the incredibly strong smell will dissipate.I just found it on Walmart online. Answer:	WOW! This product does a far superior job to previous cat litters we've tried from Fresh Step. Also, being unscented, it does NOT carry a perfumy odor throughout the house either. We have three cats, and scoop the litter daily. Don't have a problem with clumping at all, but it still has some dust to it (though far less than Fresh Step or other litters we've tried) Our cats had no problem adjusting to this litter either.
Question:	I use this litter regularly and like it but the tracking is a BIG problem. Does anyone have a solution for tracking
Answer:	Tracking was a huge problem for me from way back. My solution was to get one of the biggest hard plastic (very durable) boxes they had at PerSmart. This one's brand name is "Pet Champion". It's about three feet long; 18 inches wide; and about 10 inches deep. What I do is then place the actual litter box (which has high sides) inside this big box which catches whatever litter they track out of it, since they have to step into this big box before getting on the carpet. Occasionally, I have to empty the big box into the smaller, not a big deal. It's worked great for years; never wears out. This big litter box even has a place to hold the scooper at the end of the box so it's always handy without touching the carpet. Hope this helps! :)I actually found the exact same box (and dimensions) here on Amazon just now; it's Petmate 22040 Giant Litter Pan. Mine was a different brand name and it was a gunmetal color, but the design and dimensions are identical to mine.

This carpet deodorizer helps freshen up the rooms in my house temporarily while it's on the carpet, but once I vacuum, the scent is no longer. Basically, it's a temporary fix. I used to smoke in my car. I have quit smoking and wanted to get rid of the cig smell so I ordered bamboo charcoal air purifier bag, and it has gotten rid of the smoke scent in my car. Answer:	I see no difference between the two.....both are labeled as odor destroying for litter boxes, hard surfaces & fabric. Labels list the exact same ingredients, though the litter box odor destroyer is unscented, and the 3-in-one odor destroyer has a mild linen scent. I use them interchangeably for cleaning the litter box & as an air fragrance....they do the job!

Question:	What's the difference between fresh step extreme and multi-cat
Answer:	I've been using the Fresh Step "Simply Unscented" cat litter ever since my cats were 8 weels old They are now both 11 and a half and have used it all these years and will use it for hopefully another 11 and a half years. BUT like you I wondered ULTRAUNSCENTED which to me sounded like it was even more unscented then the "Simply Unscented" I've been using but how could that even be seeing as the Simply Unscented really has not smell to it at all. So I bought a box of the Ultra Unscented and I was totally disappointed and curious about why it was that this product actually smelled perfumie. So I never used it again and have and will stick to the Simply unscented. I don't know if I would get into trouble if I come out and say anything about the pricing of this product on here but the amount (pounds per box) and the price of it is not a good deal on here !!!

Answer:	When I pour this out I do smell something I have used this the "ultra unscented" and the simply unscented and I smell less of whatever smells are in this litter than the "ultra" you would think this would be reverse but is not. I have used this litter for my two cats now for over 11 years and I have always used the unscented and have never had any problems whats so ever PLUS over the past few years they (fresh step) actually has make this a "low dust" litter compared to what it was like before and I know personally they have made there litter low dust because before they did after dumping the litter in the cat box the hairs in my nose would be white with the dust I was breathing in and since they changed it to low dust that doesn't happen any more

Answer:	It is definitely clumping. In fact, it makes very hard clumps that do not easily break apart when you remove them. This is the best litter I've ever used.

Answer:	I wonder the same thing. I use the Simply Unscented and it is not lightweight at all. The clay granules are the same size as other litters I've used. One difference I notice is that the Simply Unscented comes in a 25 lb. box, while the Ultra Unscented comes in a 20 lb. box, but that doesn't really help to figure out the differences in the formula. Also, the Simply Unscented does have a light scent. I'm not sure what it is - or how Fresh Step can claim it's unscented - but it's definitely different from the plain, cheap, non-clumping clay litters, which have no scent at all and don't smell like the Fresh Step does. Something to keep in mind if anyone in the family has allergies or asthma.

Answer:	We also have 3 cats! We scoop the litter twice a day. We use one bag in the morning and one bag at night! Works great doing it this way. The bag could probably hold it all but we have always scooped twice a day.

Answer:	Good question! I searched the box and can find nothing to indicate mil thickness. They are made in Japan so maybe they don't measure that way. However, I have been using these bags for two years and can attest to their strength and ability to seal in odors. Use one each day for my kitty's litter "offerings" and have asked guests if they notice odor and no one does. That's the true test, I think. They feel relatively thick. If you be sure to tie a tight knot in them, there is no odor leak and I have never had a tear or puncture. A great product and makes living with kitty much more enjoyable with no worries about litter smells. You won't be disappointed in this product.

Answer:	we have 4 cats and 3 boxes and that makes a difference on how many days. all that I c can tell you is that we keep tbe bag that we are filling near tbe boxes and don't smell anything objectionable while its indoors. personally I really notice a big difference since we started using these great bags. I also like that they are easy to open and are the perfect size.

Answer:	These are disposal bags and NOT litter box liners. They do a great job of containing any smelly, stinky contents like litter box scoopings. Once they are knotted at the top, there is no evidence of any offending odor. I use them for my incontinent husband's soiled diapers or spoiled food when I clean out my fridge. They are much too small to line a litter box.
Question:	Why don't any Cat's Pride jugs have a safety seal under the cap? If the cap comes loose, the litter spills everywhere in the shipping box
Answer:	Yes, of course it comes in the dispenser box as shown. But, considering that a month’s supply of small trash bags, which work just as well, costs two to three dollars, there is little good reason to buy these.
Question:	How does this compare dust-wise to other light weight litter? I use tidy cats light weight
Answer:	I don’t know the mil- but very thin. More suited as one scoop up for a dog and far too small for a cat scooper to easily dump into. I gave them away to a friend who walks dogs- he likes them for the inside out scoop up and ties off to toss.

Answer:	There is no such claim on the packaging so I don't believe they are. They are great at containing the odor of anything you put in them, so I would think that biodegadability would be mutually exclusive--in other words, you probably can't have both.
