HOW TO DEAL WITH THE FOLDING MAT?

Step 1: please open the mat and fold the mat in the opposite direction of the creases give a good firm press on the creases area.

Step 2: Please then keep the mat flat on the floor, and place a heavy box on the crease (more weight is better, eg. 60 LBs). We will suggest to leave it for more than 7 days.

Step 3: This step is optional. We will also recommend that you can use a hairdryer to heat the folds for a few minutes, then the mat should get as flatten as we expect.

1. Eliminate peculiar smell: This mat occasionally has a little smell when it’s just been opened. It is a normal phenomenon because it’s made of EVA material.

You could use a hairdryer or put it in a ventilated place for up to two days, the smell will disappear. 2. Deal with the folds: Put some weights on it for a while, it will recover to previous shape soon.

Or use a hairdryer, heat the folds till it reach a certain temperature. Fold it in the opposite direction. 3. Prevent leakage: The bottom layer is flat. So if there are too much liquid on it,it will probably flow to the floor. Please clean it in time or put a cat pee pad on the bottom layer in case.

Answer:	I am not a vet but I will share what I believe to be accurate. Our vet prescribed this because our dog, weighing 80 lbs, had Giardia in her stool sample. She was prescribed two packets (40 lbs doses) a day for three days, along with 1 1/2 tablets of an antibiotic called Metronidazole 500 mgs, twice a day, for 7 days. We are also supposed to clean up any stool in her yard because our vet said that all she has to do is get it on her paws and then lick her paws to become reinfected. After this routine her stool will be rechecked. So, how long? If the environment is cleaned up, and your dog's stool sample comes back clean the second time, I'd say you're good to go. If not I'm guessing you'll have to go through it all over again, immediately.

Question:	Has anyone tried using this with pine/cedar/walnut pellets? The pellets would need to stay in the top pan and the sawdust fall through
Answer:	The holes are too big to use pellet litter. The pellets fall through. You need the holes to be smaller so that the "sawdust" (pellets broken down from pee) falls through the holes to be dumped out, so you can save the whole pellets and put them back in the litter pan to be used.
Question:	Can this be used with non-clumping pine litter
Answer:	Yes, it can. I prefer it to the litter box meant for feline pine litter. You use this one differently, however. The litter is used in a solid bottom pan. I scoop the poop regularly and shake the pan to make the saw dust go to the bottom of that pan. After about a week, I empty the litter into the shifting pan and shakes the sawdust through to into the second pan. Toss out the saw dust and pour the remaining pine litter back into the original pan. It is fast and easy. The pans are easy to wipe clean.
Question:	How much litter do you add? How do I get the sifter back under the litter after emptying it
Answer:	Usually 3-4 inches of litter will suffice. Step 1.Lift the sifting tray and shake from side to side. clean litter will fall through sifting tray into bottom pan. Step 2.Clumped litter will remain on top of sifting tray. Discard clumps in a trash receptacle and then clean the tray. Step 3. Reassemble litter pan using empty bottom pan. Step 4. Pour sifted litter from original pan onto sifting tray. Add more clean litter if needed. Clean original pan and place under assembled litter pan for storage.
Question:	Anyone find a hood or method for keeping the cats from kicking litter out? I love the sifting but now I have to deal with litter outside the box
Answer:	I upcycle those wonderful Amazon boxes. Since my cats love those boxes anyway, I set one on it's side and slide the litter box into the open box. That way, I have sides and a top and the litter stays in the box. It also keeps mine from scratching walls near their litter box - mine love scratching cardboard. When I empty the litter box, I pour the spilled litter back into the clean box. By the way, the Amazon boxes are sturdy enough to spray paint if you need to color coordinate. The best thing is that if they destroy the covering box, I know I will have another Amazon delivery coming!

Answer:	I have owned this litter box for over 6 months and I have NEVER used bag liners. Personally, i think bag liners just get scratched up and do more harm than good. So yes, you can. Answer:	At first I tried to fold the plastic liner over the edge of the lower half. It would not fit. I tried just bringing the bag up to the edge. I secured it with a few small pieces of tape. When the dome is placed on top it traps the edge of the bag holding it in place. I just need to learn where to purchase more bags. Will start at the website. Good luck!

Answer:	We have chihuahuas (5, 6 and 9 lbs). The oldest 9 lb doesn't even try to go in but the other two can zip in and out of there as if it was made for them. They don't move the lid or anything; they are smaller then the cat. But they will try to drag kitty litter and then some out of it frequently. No problems for me though as they do the same and worse with litter boxes uncovered or with a normal box cover.

Answer:	It came with a top piece that is "supposed" to keep the litter in the box. No success with that.

I then threw the packaging away. 3 weeks passed and I thought to register it and THEN the worst happened. Could not register it with Canon. Did more research found it it was a grey market product. Tried to return it because I was within the Amazon allowed time. Contacted the seller and they were charging me 40% for not having the box. So of course I kept the camera. They have a seller year warranty but that is not what I would have wanted. I want it warranted with Canon. I wrote a bad review but Amazon never posted it. I thought it fair that buyers know that it’s not warrantable with Canon. If I could do it over again, I would buy from authorized dealers with the authorized symbol or just a US retail store

Answer:	I have it on a tile floor in front of two larger litter boxes and it stays out and works well. I would say yes but the size is pretty large that we got .

Answer:	This item should NOT be on the subscribe and save. Amazon should correct this. The mat is sturdy and is long lasting and not a “one use” product. It’s very good. I have two litter boxes and the mat works well. Good product. It will last for years.
Question:	My order came with a little unlabled packet of something, looks like seeds. Any idea what it is
Answer:	Came here to ask this too as the package is sealed with a plastic film on the inside so it can't be silica desiccant. Definitely plant matter seeds, husks or something. Maybe a material to 'test' out the mat??
