Answer:	There's a citrus-like scent to it that isn't overpowering at all. It does a nice job, and seems to last longer than just baking soda.

1. With the drawer side facing you, place the grated tray on the base, so the grate is directly above the drawer. NOTE: The system is built to funnel urine to the grate, so it's important to align the grate above the drawer

2. Place the sidewall on top of the base, with the opening facing you (it sits to the left of the drawer). Hang the scoop on the sidewall wherever you prefer

3. Pull out the drawer, insert one cat pad (soft side up), and close

4. Fill the top portion of the box with 7lbs of litter pellets (use both 3.5lb bags included)

5. Scoop out solid waste and dispose of daily. NOTE: Pellets do not clump and waste won't be completely buried

6. Add more pellets as needed. We recommend that you replace the pellets completely once a month

7. Slide drawer out to check and replace pad. Drawer can be rotated to extend pad life

Question:	Is there a privaciy hood for the XL pellet system
Answer:	It has the same kind of top that the regular-sized box has. We bought two of them to replace our regular ones as we adopted a big, orange tabby. Some additional FYI: We ended up taking the top off as he seemed to have trouble moving around in it with it on. The other cats seemed to prefer it off too. I keep a small dust pan and brush near the boxes, and when some pellets are kicked out, I just sweep them up and put them back in. For us taking the top off has worked. But we don't have any cats that really kick and bury the litter, so it may not work for everyone.

Question:	How wide is the opening? I'd like ot get a different scoop to use with the Litter Champ, but I understand a lot of scoops are too wide for the Champ
Answer:	Opening is 4 in X 5.5 in. Just measured. We also wanted a different scoop than comes with the unit. Down side to that is the scoop provided comes with a magnetic device so that it will hang on the side of the container. The scoop we bought to replace it came from the kitchen department of a local hardware store. It has a 1/4 in metal wire mesh screen about 4in X 4 in and has a metal handle. Works well with the opening. Wire mesh seemed better than slots found on many of the plastic scoops one can find online. Hope this helps solve your question. Litter system has always been wonderful and can be washed out occasionally and dried outside.
Question:	The product comes with one bag. This bag is supposed to last 3-6 months
Answer:	Are you serious? 4 cats and bags lasting 5 to 6 weeks? Are these kittens? I have the Litter Champ disposal system and and 2 average sized cats. One 10 lbs other 13 lbs. and I have to throw this bag out every week at garbage day. It's full! I cannot believe your getting 6 weeks from 4 cats. Are you using lawn and leaf bags?
Question:	Can anyone compare this to the litter genie? Are they about the same size? Are the refill bags longer? litter genie refills are expensive
Answer:	I have not had a litter genie, but I have other products very similar to this. This is much bigger than anything I have used before. The bag is a single ring which you tie off to size - it has a handy built in razor to cut the bag loose when the chamber is full. I clean my box twice a day for one cat & find I have to empty the chamber about once a week. It is easy to shop around for the refills and have found pretty good prices for them. It is also nice the these bags are biodegradable plastic - still sturdy enough for their purpose here.
Question:	Why are the litter champ refills no longer on amazon
Answer:	I had emailed them earlier, and they mentioned the Dr. Fosters site. They also said: "The Litter Champ has been available for the last month, the refills are still not available on Amazon yet. They will not have them until probably the beginning to mid June." So they may be coming back, but still not from what I can tell as of yet.

Answer:	My family is very sensitive to smells. We can barely stand the smell of "unscented" clay litters. I was in the other room when they opened and poured the bag, so I don't know how it smelled when it was first opened. But I literally could not detect any "scent" when I came in a few minutes later and had my nose inches from the box. - The crystals had a slight smell to them. But there was nothing perfumed about it. Just the silica or whatever these are made of. ... We ordered in January 2020. I am eager to see if it can really trap the liter box odors for a full month.

Answer:	I agree with pretty much all the other answers. Sometimes it gets tracked pretty far onto our carpet and if I kneel down without seeing it it almost feels like a thorn in my kneecap, which is pretty painful. But, it is still absolutely worth it and is an amazing product! It depends on the surface (carpet or wood floor) and the part of your foot that lands on it (toe, heal, etc). I've never used PetSafe so I don't know what that one feels like. But I wouldn't compare stepping your foot on it to a lego, though I would for the knee. *Also, referring to one of the other responses, DO NOT FLUSH THE POO DOWN THE TOILET! If anybody reading this isn't aware, it's dangerous to our drinking water as well as ocean life*

Question:	What's the difference between ultra and regular
Answer:	Ultra has the lid which is why it is $169.00 without the lid it is $139.00. The base of the litter box at a step counter (how many uses) and timer intervals of 5/10/15. The 2nd generation appears to have a small front lip which my cats tender to pee towards the front so with shorter front step the pee gets on the cardboard replacements. I have both ultra and 2nd generation- with two cats I prefer the ultra. In my opinion it is made better. The 2nd generation doesn’t have the timer intervals and the front step is cheaply made.
Question:	How do you know it's time to change the tray? We have a kitten, so will it go longer at first
Answer:	I change the litter (we use the Forever Litter Tray) after about 24 uses - that's about 4-5 days in our house with 2 cats. Our cats must pee in larger amounts, because at 24 uses, I start to notice a smell from the box and the litter looks saturated. I see other owners that get 50-100 uses before they change out the litter. For a kitten, they would pee in smaller amounts, so it should last quite a bit longer.

Answer:	I got the pet safe scoop free ultra about 6 months ago and just love it. I have 3 cats that are inside/outside and have to change it every couple months. I got the plastic litter tray that was an extra $50. I've since found crystal kitty litter at Walmart for 1/2 the price of pet safe, but haven't tried it, just saw it over the weekend.
Question:	Do you have to use crystals for this littler box to work or can you use regular clumping litter
Answer:	Do use the crystals with this machine. It's what makes this litter box the best on the market. Not only is the motor whisper quiet, those crystals really work! The key to this system is to change the crystals after so many uses, not by days. Some people say to change when the counter hits 100. I prefer 70 in my case. And when I change it everything is brand new. I don't let my littler box turn to trash before I change it. While the crystals are more expensive than clump free litter, it works several times more efficiently. I've used LitterMaid for years and the box was never clean, it was loud and would break down after a year or so. This system really works if you use it properly and change the crystals based on "uses" not "days".

Question:	How well do they hold smell
Answer:	There is no perfume in the ones I use. I use two inside the box and a perfumed Tidy Cat brand outside the box as a possible (likely unnecessary deodorant/paw mat 😊). They look and are made identically to Tidy Cat's and I love them. Much more economical. I have a large cat with good urinary output that does not smell, so I turn the box around twice a day and empty it nearly every day, refreshing the pine more frequently than is actually required. You would not know a cat resides in my home. No odor here.
Question:	Are these more absorbant that the Breeze pads? Do they last longer
Answer:	They’re pretty absorbent! I do think the Breeze brand is a little better though but they are also more expensive for so little. I have 1 cat but she has diabetes so she owes A LOT! With these I have to change the pad almost everyday but they’re cheaper so it doesn’t bother me.

Answer:	They are made in Brooklyn NY and only ship to “All across America”. That’s why I brought from them and I have been using these pads and the entire Cat Breeze Litter System and I LOVE it. The pellets only need to be changed about 5 to 6 weeks depending on you can and these pads I can go only about 4 days because my sweet boy is on a prescription food because of his recurring bladder stones and it promotes a LOT of drinking which means a LOT trips to his litter box. But I have had NO problems with theses pads so far. Plus the have a wonderful smell to them. If you get them you will not be disappointed.

Answer:	Canon manufactures their camera's in Japan. As far as getting everything in the picture. I never really expect it honestly. I usually find something in the small print that says something in the picture is NOT included. However I did receive everything pictured except the pretty little box in the background. Did not want it anyway. I have to say I was surprised that all the camera related items fits nicely in the backpack as pictured. It's light weight and compact. I have to say it's one of my better buys. Also as far as the camera go's WOW I have had so much fun with it. As a extremely novices photographer. Answer:	No. And it’s horrible to learn that not until after I purchased it. I assumed it was because it came with paperwork etc with Canon on it complete with box etc. So I was sure it was ... I then threw the packaging away. 3 weeks passed and I thought to register it and THEN the worst happened. Could not register it with Canon. Did more research found it it was a grey market product. Tried to return it because I was within the Amazon allowed time. Contacted the seller and they were charging me 40% for not having the box. So of course I kept the camera. They have a seller year warranty but that is not what I would have wanted. I want it warranted with Canon. I wrote a bad review but Amazon never posted it. I thought it fair that buyers know that it’s not warrantable with Canon. If I could do it over again, I would buy from authorized dealers with the authorized symbol or just a US retail store

Answer:	Well the cartridge fits fine, but the plastic bag is exactly the same length as the one for the regular litter genie so there is little benefit to buying the plus or XL litter genie. Why they can't make one with a longer bag for the longer canister is just cheap. Really is frustrating and misleading advertising. And, on purpose, they have changed the shape of the top of the XL one so the other brand bag (that is long enough) won't fit any more. Im very unhappy with them!

Answer:	The ones i have recieved have no scent. I've been buying the unscented for over a year, I've never had any scent on them.
Question:	Why is the 40 count more expensive than two 20 counts
Answer:	I bought the Fresh Scent 40-count pack for $24.99. The 20-count pack is $14.99. So for Fresh Scent pads it is cheaper to buy the 40-count package.
Question:	It says the pad needs to be changed every 2 to 3 days. I only have to change the Breeze pad every 6 days. So are these of lesser quality
Answer:	These pads fit the TCB tray and compared to the Tidy Cat Breeze pads seems to hold a similar amount of urine without leaking, HOWEVER, the Amazon pads DO NOT offer the same odor control. The Tidy Cat Breeze pads are far superior with odor control. I never smelled urine when using the Tidy Cat pads - ever! I couldn't get through 2-3 days without smelling urine with the Amazon Basic pads. I change the Tidy Cat pad every 10 days - I rotate the tray every 5 days so the unsoiled area of the pad is under the potty area of the tray. I never smell urine - even when I use the pad for 10 days. I do scoop the poo daily and I wash the entire box, tray and side guard once a month to keep the plastic from smelling.
