Answer:	These shouldn’t block any water flow. I’ve used them for years. Make sure you rinse out the filter before you put it in the unit.... there are directions for this. Generally I rinse, shake, rinse, shake, maybe five or six times. At least until I don’t see any charcoal coming out
Question:	Can i use a dental additive with these? Or will the filter just absorb it
Answer:	I’m sure it is, however you’d probably have to gut the filter ( cloth material & media) before tossing in the recycling bin. Honestly the price of these are great, however the quality is really lacking . I’d pay regular price for the petsafe brand. You’ll get better life out of them
Question:	Is it 3 packs of 3, or is it 1 pack of
Answer:	I have a Pagoda water pump. These filters go inside the plastic filter holder on top of the pump, but the new filter needs to be rinsed thoroughly to get the loose charcoal out. Just run water through the new filter until it comes out clear. The filter holder sits on top of the pump so just pop the top plastic part off the top, take out the old filter, and put in a new rinsed out one. Then snap it back on to the bottom of the filter holder that is on the pumo. You will need to clean the fountain and rinse out the filter once a week or so. If the water flow starts slowing down and rinsing doesn't help you will need to replace the filter with a new one.
Question:	Will these fit the cat-it water filter? The description seems unclear
Answer:	I do think they work better than the drinkwell filters.

Answer:	There are two rings on the outside of the housing that will light up once the bulb is properly inserted. The lamp will not light up until the entire unit is assembled.
Question:	I have city water. Do you really need both filters
Answer:	I've had this product in my pond for 3 years... I've gone through 8 or 9 bulbs and 3 transformers... Not a fan at all. Not a very good product. I'd say just get a new one. If that doesn't work, the outage damaged the transformer.

Answer:	Mine only last a week also. I went back and read some of the reviews and you may find your answer there. The claim is they are of a lesser quality and oily. I find the same issue after using this brand. I am headed back to the pet store where the original filters are sold!
