Answer:	I can’t answer the dusty question directly but definitely recommend putting everything inside large garbage bags..not only bc of dust but rain is also a definite consideration. We did experience rain and dampness was inside due to wind around the zipper. I think these bags were a great purchase!

Answer:	The roof straps are designed to go through the (open) doors, and snap together inside the car - basically forming a loop from the bag (outside) and buckling inside the car. So the answer to your question is yes, in my opinion. It's hard for me to imagine getting the straps tight enough if you were fastening it to a roof rack. I hope this helps!

Answer:	I do not know if it will fit your Jeep. I drive a 2010 Toyota RAV4 with a side opening tailgate and use this rack. As far as being able to open the tailgate when it is in place, if your lower straps have to anchor on to your bumper, or anything underneath the bumper, then you will not be able to open the tailgate while it is installed. There are no convenient attachments on my car for the lower straps, so I anchor them to the tie-down rings inside the rear compartment, then I close the door on the straps and cinch them up. I have to remove the rack to open the tailgate. This is the only rack that I have found to fit on my car, and it is fairly easy to take on and off the car. The hardest part for me is putting the rigid tire cover back on the spare, but the rack itself is easy.

Question:	are the sides solid or can kitty see outside
Answer:	The sides have mesh windows so the cat can see out. 1 of the sides also unzip so you have 3 openings. We really like this carrier and it works well for our smaller cat. We have not used it for our big tubby cat...we use a solid plastic carrier for him. I recommend this carrier.

Pls unzip all the openings and put the carrier on the floor, so your cat can explore freely and get used to it. 2. You can also put some used toys, blanket in the carrier, that will be helpful.
