I got this for my kitten when he was 3 lbs and he loves it but now he jumps awkwardly up & down the platforms because they're not really big and he's now 5.5 lbs. I have a cat who is almost 15lbs, there is no way she would enjoy this comfortably. She has her own tree which is only 2 shelves with condo and much much wider.

Question:	My cat is approx. 7-8 isn pounds. Will he fit this tree
Answer:	I have the snap clip on mine and it will take a lot of pull to get the clip to release. This is a safety feature and I would not disconnect it. Either that or use a cord that will break if an accident does happen. Your life is worth more than a thirty dollar compass.

Question:	How do you think this would hold up against 2 very large (15 pounds) very active cats
Answer:	I have two cats, 11 and 12 pounds, that jump on the Cat Tree at the same time. It is very sturdy, just screw the pieces together tightly when assembling. If the tree will sit on hardwood or tile, put a rubber shelf liner on the bottom so it does not slide. My only concern for a 22 pound cat is the size of the 3 upper platforms. My long 12 pound cat can curl up on the platform and still look comfortable. I have had my tree for almost 2 years and it still looks new.

Answer:	Just measured mine and the actual square base piece is 22" deep and 24" wide. The side pieces stick out on both sides to about 48" wide. And overall height of it is 72" tall. It's an excellent cat gym for small and large cats and by far better deal than any In store cat gym I have ever seen. It does look a. Bit smaller in person than advertised but well worth it and I have owned mine for about 7 years and still works as cats still love it. I had a cheaper older one that I was able to combine into this one to make it even better so mine is slightly different than this now but all works excellent!

Answer:	I have had this Amaracat cat tree for 12 yrs, all of my cats have loved it. I highly recommend an Amaracat tree/condo for your cats. The cat tree has a wide solid base with plenty of levels, the house is a good sized, I have had two of my cats (range from 10-15 lbs) in the house at the same time laying comfortably. My youngest cat races up and down the tree and it does wobble but has never gone over. I like the faux fur much better than the sheep skin, the faux fur is easier to clean and doesn't tear like the sheep skin covered trees (I recently had to replace my 4 foot cat tree that was covered with sheep skin due to tearing of the sheep skin and it was a pain to try and get the cat hair off of it).

Answer:	I have 6 cats. My big guys are 17+. It is incredibly well put together. I'm an RVT and pretty cynical. I have been telling all my friends what a great tree this is.

Answer:	Well, my indoor kitties are way less than 40lbs. We made a few adjustments to the house. We put the small house on top and one of the platforms where the small house is shown. The pole holding the small house in the picture is a bit wobbly. It is does not seem like it will break, but you know cats do not like wobbly things to climb on. The basket would be too small for such a tiger. The top part and other platforms should be just fine. The big house would fit your cat for sure. Our female seems to enjoy it the most. She sleeps in the hammock a lot. We are still getting them used to it and they still wind up on the chairs more often than I would like. I plan to hide treats in it to see if I can entice them to use it more often. They do like the scratching post, which are everywhere on it.

Answer:	Without measuring it, my guess is that both sides of the triangle are 30 in and the opposite curved edge is 45! My cats love it still- it’s their go-to! I have it in front of a big window and they climb, sleep and play there everyday!
