Answer:	I used to have a pet ferret and these crocs wouldn’t be strong enough. I wouldn’t recommend it. The metal pieces that hold the strap together came off within the first couple mins of my bird playing with it. And one shoe didn’t even last a week. What I have done is I have actually given my bird a real croc. My sis accidentally threw it in the dryer and it shrunk. Now it’s small enough to be the perfect toy. I believe that would be safer for your ferret. The real croc is still going strong after 2 months.

Answer:	I purchased this toy for my African Gray Parrot and he loves it. It is holding up up very good. He loves holding the measuring spoons and chewing on the acrylic(?) rings. He has been able to break some of the rings over time however. But he doesn't seem to mind once they have dropped off. He just enjoyed working on them. So I would say it would work for a parrot as large as a Macaw, but over time he would chew some of the parts off.....but isn't that what parrots do to all the toys we buy them? Lol

Answer:	At the momemt, this toy does not appear to contain foam or rubber but it used to contain two rubber dowels, one on the top and on the bottom. Now it appears the toy has been completely redesigned. Good, thanks to the rubber dowels my 17-year-old Gindie conure is dead since he chewed off and swallowed large pieces of the dowels. These pieces logged in his intestine, unable to pass them he died. Although the company never responded to my family's letter of outrage I am glad to see they redesigned the toy and it is safer now.
