Answer:	Mine came mostly assembled in a box. I had to pretty much attach the handle assembly. Do a search, there are a couple of videos on line that show you how to do it. The blower came by truck and the truck had a lift gate that lowered the blower if that's what you mean.

My guess is that the impellers became brittle over the years and when I got an uneven spot in our driveway they cracked and big pieces broke off. Replacement was quite easy but a bit tedious.
