Answer:	This is product is Magnesium Chloride which is more gentle than other melting products on most surfaces. However, it is not ideal to put any melting material on your shingles or gutters. If you have an ice dam, you can put the product in a nylon stocking and lay that on the roof to create a drainage channel.

My order was fulfilled by Amazon in January 2016 but the seller was probably different. Answer:	Hopefully they used a biodegradable for dye like Safe Paw does. If they did, it would fade. Oxy clean will help biodegrade the stain fast. Try that.

Answer:	This is 96% Calcium Chloride Pellets. There is 0% Rock Salt in this product.

Answer:	Having a pool for years in Florida, I can say that many Chemicals for Pool can be substituted or bought cheaper for same job other than what Pool supplier sell, Especially Pool Shock, Sodium Bicarbonate, Acids, and other , But if you learn the pool chemistry By experts of science as i did you can keep your pool in balance and not need those chemicals that Pool supply keeps telling you need, I had two pools ruined by taking Pool suppler advice, Cost me over 3000 bucks so i went to science of The PH for Pools. So yes if the same chemical as required you can use it.
