Answer:	That is a good question. I would almost be tempted to buy two and put them on both ends with that large of a pool. Our was an above ground pool (32 by 16) and we tied ours right by the ladder. It is super sensitive and would always go off when it rained hard.

RECEIVER

Your receiver works with the pool alarm allowing you to monitor your pool from within your house. When the floating alarm is activated it sends a signal to activate the receiver.

Transmission Modes

The receiver has two modes of operation: Serial Number mode (SN mode) and ID mode. When the receiver is in SN mode it will accept the transmission of any Pool Patrol transmitter (this is the default setting). The serial number is common to all transmitters. When the receiver is in ID mode it will accept the serial number plus the ID number of the transmission. The ID number is unique to each transmitter.

RECEIVER PLACEMENT

It is best to place the receiver next to a window or wood door adjacent to the pool with-in 200 feet from the transmitter. Do not place the receiver near steel walls, cabinets, on or alongside an electrical appliance, such as a computer, or on a metal surface as this may affect signal reception. The pool alarm will not transmit its signal through the ground.

Answer:	I don't know if it will detect her going in I suspect no, but- it might once she starts splashing and moving in the water- When we put ours in it did not detect the waves created by a gallon jug of water from across the alarm dropped in about a foot above water level (so about 8-9 pounds) (but it did when we did 2 at same time) . The manual also notes that gradual water entry might not be detected. It would also be affected by size of pool and number of alarms. Their customer service is 800-242-7163- they might be able to tell you- or if they have other options

Answer:	I'm not familiar with the zodiac but I have a navigator pool cleaner that runs 9 hours and it has NOT triggered this alarm. This was one of my concerns that I researched in pool alarms. Hope that helps!

Answer:	There is nothing operationally that would prevent that. But. You need at least 5 inches clearance between the deck and the bottom of the cover.... Not likely. But, it can be picked up easily when you decide to deploy the cover. If the cover is on... I assume you do not need the guard

Answer:	We used Scotch permanent mounting tape on our metal door. It has only been up 4 months, but it is holding up so far. It comes with screws for mounting. I wouldn't think you could use them on a fiber glass door. Hope this helps.

Answer:	Only from the inside where the bypass button will be mounted. Keep in mind that there is a five second delay from the moment you open the door. This allows you to enter from the outside and press the bypass button as you walk though the door.

Answer:	That would depend on what the power output of the USB port on the power bank is because the power supply that comes with the unit plugs into 110VAC, but it converts that to 5VDC before it goes to the base station. So unless your powerbank converts the power supplied to the USB port to 5VDC you cannot plug it into there.

Answer:	Same here: I was forced by city inspector to purchase and install these devices... which were promptly removed as soon as I passed inspection. Apparently everybody does this as they are so esthetically unpleasant. Yes: they advertise the item in white and then when you receive it it's really tan in color. I believe it's more because of the plastic discoloration (yellowing) of the plastic polymer the factory uses, that over time (UV rays?) turns into a darker tone. They look obsolete and definitely ugly anyways. Unfortunately some city code only accepts - don't ask me why- these 'rated' devices. Fortunately in my household I have no children to protect... but if I did I would NOT certainly rely on these ancient alarm system. I'd rather install a pool fence.

Answer:	Each unit will alarm one entryway or window, however the unit can alarm two sliders or doors on one entryway, such as a glass and screen sliding door.

Answer:	Use Scotch Velcro. I used the Extremely Strong kind and had no trouble. If you later decide to remove the unit, it will peel off the paint. But that’s better than dealing with a hole in the door frame.
