Answer:	First is water fresh or been sitting unfiltered? If unfiltered 1/4 bag should be plenty I use 1/2 bag for 40,000 gallon pool with regular chlorine tabs in skimmer. In heat of summer 2 cups a week if needed. Start by adding 2 cups and check your chlorine level if not at proper level add another 2 cups ect.

Answer:	I’m not 100% sure, but it probably does. The studies regarding BPA in plastics is around products that touch food. This ionizer will be on your pool and never around food, so it is completely safe.

Answer:	No, this device keeps algae from forming. Once this product has been in your pool for about a week, you will not see any new algae growth going forward. Usually, pools need high levels of chlorine (shock) to prevent the pool from turning green (algae). However, with this product in the pool, you need the minimum amounts of chlorine required for a safe swimming pool. A floating skimmer with chlorine tabs is all that should be required. No pool shock treatments. I've used this device in my personal pool for years and I have never had to shock my pool. I just keep chlorine tabs in floater and the pool stays clear all summer long. Answer:	It's not too ugly. As far as detaching and reattaching, if you don't have someone that can configure a coupling to make this happen, you will not have an easy time doing this. I stopped using this product. Way too many problems with it.

Question:	How long does this product last
Answer:	7 years on mine and it's been very valuable. In my case, an inground 17x35, there was no accounting for prevailing winds on our site and the built-in skimmer was placed at the upwind end, while the prevailing winds blow all the debris to the opposite end rendering the skimmer almost useless. Fortunately there's a return at the downwind end and that's where this Pool Skim goes, and works very well. Only wish it came with a bigger bag (our pool has Silver Maples at each end).

Answer:	So far so good. With the moat full of water and a glass hummingbird feeder full of sugar water, the hook was more than adequate. Made it through last Spring & Summer. It is a plastic hook, but thick enough to do the job. I guess you could replace with a metal hook, but I doubt you'll feel the need to do so.And the moat definitely keeps the ants out.

Answer:	If you can locate the point on the ground where the ants are coming from to the bird feeder, try sprinkling ant dust around that area. I did this for a feeder hanging on a pole (without an ant moat) and it worked well. Just have to refresh the ant dust after a rain.

Answer:	Not precise but about 3oz. It dries pretty quick, have to keep refilling but the water sure keeps the ants off the bird feeder.

Answer:	No. This is very small and holds 1” tablets. I don’t think it would be very sufficient for a pool that large.

Answer:	Yes, dichlor is stablized. If you use granular chlorine instead of tablets try switching to calcium hypochlorite (shock) when your cyanuric acid is high. Cal hypo isn't stabilized so your cy acid will decrease with regular back washing.
Question:	Can i use this on my intex vinyl hot tub
Answer:	Yes. I always scatter it directly in the pool and it dissolves relatively fast. Because I have a white plaster surface, I can't determine if a significant amount remains at the bottom. If you have a dark or tinted pool surface, you might want to carefully and slowly scatter it. This product is identical to the name brand products and doesn't dissolve any differently.

Answer:	yes, premix with water so there is no residual at the bottom of the pool

Answer:	This is sodium dichlor. When used as directed, it will keep your chlorine ppm around 1.5 to 2.0. It also resists uv breakdown like a liquid chlorine. It also had cyranic acid which is a stabilizing agent. Basically it creates a mineral water in your pool. No chlorine smell. No dried skin. I use 6oz’s a day in my 30,000 gallon pool with a weekly copper based algeside. My water is always crystal clear and easy on the skin. 25 pounds lasts me 66 days.
