Answer:	It is square, about 20 inches each panel, and there are 4 of them. Very solidly built.

Yes same as IDXLTER1930 and loads cheaperBy Rogiemeister - May 22, 2014Amazon Verified PurchaseIf you have an electronic ignition Hayward heater that is flashing "SF" on the control panel, then this is the part you need. You'll have to unscrew the front control panel and two side panels (surrounding the water input and output pipes) to get at where you need; this takes a few minutes. Then you need to unscrew the old sensor, which will require an adjustable wrench. This was pretty easy; but you have less than 1/2 turning range so it takes quite a few turns. No big deal though. Then screw in the new one (my new one was longer than the old one, both the sensor and the screw heads, but it fit really well even though I had to leave a good portion of the screw heads exposed after it was tightened all the way). Then feed the line through to the control panel (follow the old line) and snap out the old modular jack, insert the new one. Piece of cake even for a guy who is all thumbs such as myself.

Answer:	Not sure if this helps, but last year we got that error and found spider webs in the little sockets where the gas hits the pilot. Our heater would kick on, you would hear the pilot go on but then stop and show the error.

Answer:	If the igniter glows it is good. The click should be the inducer blower shutting down for a split second and th4e gas valve opening up. Ck that the valve is getting gas and all the fuses are good on the board.

Answer:	From your report, it seems that the ignitor is doing its job and lighting the fuel. If the flame were weak, due to poor balance between gas and combustion air, or if the flame sensor was compromised, being either corroded or shorted, then either would cause the unit to shut down. Be safe and have a gas appliance technician check this out.

Answer:	It does not, the layout with diagram can be found online. Also, you can take a picture of your transformer board, furthermore the board is properly labeled with fuse size designating at the correct locations. Very hard to make a mistake.

Answer:	you need to reduce from either the 2in female or the 2.5in male connections on the union a 2inX1.5in bushing will do the job in your case.(remember that the union is actually CPVC-- not PVC) best to take the union to the plumbing store so that you, or the clerk, can actually check the fit! As to choice of glue---??? don't know as I have never installed these on any pump that was designed for use on such small bore plumbing--just make sure that the glue can take the back pressure created by the reduction.
