Answer:	Yes, you can wash the filter. I usually use the flat stream on my hose setting. I do this once a week so I get 3 to 4 weeks out of a filter.

Answer:	It has to be level, but it won't hurt if you have a slight slope away from the house. I leveled an area that has a 1/4-1/2 inch slope pointing away from the house. In the event something happens and 1,718 gallons of water come pouring out, it's best that water goes away from the house.

Answer:	Any pool will need to use some form of chemical to keep the water free of things living in it. This pool comes with a simple non-chemical filter.

Answer:	Just arrived. Includes pump, two hoses and directional inlet. NO outlet fittings and NO plunger valves. In addition, for anyone making a "hillbilly pool" with a stock tank, this cannot pull water over the top. The best I can see, holes will need to be cut in the side so water can flow down into the pump.

Answer:	Yes, the lid can be hard to get off of the pump. What I use to make it easier is "O-Ring Lube", available at pool supply stores. Apply a thin coating to all mating surfaces and the O-ring seal. One other item I use is a strainer basket in the pool surface strainer, it catches most the leaves, so cleaning the basket on the pump doesn't have to be that often. Hope it helps you.

Answer:	I don’t think you can. It’s a factory warranty and if you install it I have read that the factory warranty isn’t honored when I read other customers responses. If it’s installed by a pool company it’s honored.

Answer:	Mine picks up quite a bit of small material, small pollen type stuff, it will not do dirt though, that getting too small, however it will disperse into the water so that the filter might then get it out of the pool. When I added a lot of alkalinity booster (baking soda) recently, a lot settled on the bottom of the pool and I used this to kick it up the next morning to continue the mixing process. Worked very well for that too.

Answer:	I received the same "orange/gray" host attach piece. It is a male connector . . expecting a female hose connector. That's opposite of standard garden hoses, making this totally non-functional. BTW, the vacuum head didn't come with brushes, either. I expect we both have been sent the incorrect kit. Answer:	Screw the pices that have threds on them, they form the handle, push the plastic locking key thur the only hole it fits into, make sure the blue thing with wheeles, you just screwd the handle into is attached to it. Now take the bag and attach it to the biggest hole on the other blue thing. The only piece you should have left is to attach to the water hose. Its a simple push and release system. Easy peasy. Evey thing is awesome!

Answer:	Screw all telescoping handles together, and attach them to the vacuum unit. Screw a water hose to the vacuum unit. Attach the collection bag to the top of the vacuum unit. If you have a lot of small debris you can attach a women's pantyhose cut short inside the collection bag. This arrangement works fine for me.

How to find a replacement cartridge for your pool or spa?

If you already know your filter cartridge's part number or the replacement number, you can use the search the part number on our product page to quickly confirm whether the filter is compatible.

If you do not know the replacement part number for your cartridge, then choosing the right cartridge can be accomplished by measuring your existing one. Use the following steps as a guide:

1. Measure the outside diameter of the cartridge in inches (+/- 1/16).
2. Measure cartridge length from end cap to end cap (+/- 1/16). Exclude any handles or extensions.
3. Identify the correct top and bottom type. If the top and/or bottom is open, measure the inside diameter of the opening (+/- 1/16th inch). If the end cap is closed make note of its identifying features (i.e. “Handle”, “Cone”, etc.).
4. Make note of the manufacturer and model number of the filter into which the replacement cartridge will be installed.
5. Take note whether or not there is a center core (PVC pipe in center).
