| Answer: | Re FCL/Br pad turning blue means you could have a very high level of Chlorine in the water. Usually as it goes up the scale goes from a white color at 0 ppm, to pink to purple them off the scale 10 ppm+ could be a purplish blue color. If you have recently chlorine shocked the water this might be why. As the chlorine/Brominie dissipates this level should return to normal. |
