Answer:	My doctor is testing at 20 is that crazy, told him I use cbd oil for pain, he wants to put me on opiods. I told him I put the cbd flower, yes texas sells the flower ! and i put it in a crock pot with coconut oil then use cheese cloth, put some in my pancake syrup and walla, no more joint pain ! Answer:	I don’t think these test strips are sensitive enough to detect the amount of chlorine typically in tap water. Unless your tap water has really high chlorine content. These strips won’t detect anything under 1ppm.

Answer:	It depends on what your jewelry is made of. My platinum and diamond engagment ring and wedding band get nicely cleaned in this., as well as my Tiffany 14K and diamond jewelry. I have quite a lot of Tiffany silver jewelry that can be cleaned in this machine, but in order to remove tarnish you MUST used silver polish. Water with or without detergent won't do anything for tarnish except clean the tarnish itself. Of course you know Tiffany cleans all their jewelry for free. Just take it to any Tiffany store and they will make it look like new.

Question:	Why does my chlorine/bromine square (1st square) turn blue? That's not on the chart
Answer:	Re FCL/Br pad turning blue means you could have a very high level of Chlorine in the water. Usually as it goes up the scale goes from a white color at 0 ppm, to pink to purple them off the scale 10 ppm+ could be a purplish blue color. If you have recently chlorine shocked the water this might be why. As the chlorine/Brominie dissipates this level should return to normal.
Question:	Will these give proper reading for alkaline ph of drinking water from a alkaline water machine
Answer:	Yes, these strips can be used to test any water. The ideal ranges displayed on our product's results key are intended for swimming pool water, but the readings also provide results as ppm or standard pH scale, so you can still compare the results to your desired levels.

Answer:	This will work but it's my understanding that salt water pools have a much lower chlorine level than chlorinated pools. Answer:	If stored in high humidity (e.g., Miami summer weather) in spite of the foil packaging, they will not last a year. But, if kept in an air conditioned room (or even in a freezer), they should last a year or more, although there may be a diminution of potency. The best way to check is to have KNOWN high concentrations of N, P, and K, so that you can see if you get full color development. Freezing a soil sample that analyzed as "high" for all three elements when the chemicals were fresh should work to provide such a check (i.e., "positive control").
Question:	can this be used for salt pools
Answer:	Refer this to the manufacturer.
Question:	how many CYA tests can you do with this kit
Answer:	50 tests of each of N, P, and K can be performed (measuring in comparison to a color card as "Low, Medium, or High"). BUT there are only enough extraction tablets for 50 extracts. So, the presumption is that you do N, P, and K tests on each extract. If you only want to do N or P, before disposing of extracts, then you'll be limited to 50 tests (the total number of soil extractions that you can perform).
Question:	What is the difference between K-2005 and K
Answer:	I suspect there is a way to use this for hydroponics but have not found anything to say how. It appears that the commonly used tests for hydroponics are ph and TDS or EC. Note that TDS and EC measurements are two different ways of measuring the same thing so you don't need both. The TDS (total dissolved solids) or EC (electrical conductivity) is a general gage of the quantity of nutrients in the water. The ph is important because if the ph is wrong the plants will not absorb the nutrients. That said amazon does sell inexpensive ph, TDS and EC meters that are easy to use. You should get reference solutions to calibrate these meters. (be careful not to contaminate your reference solutions with your nutrient solutions!) If you are looking to do custom nutrient solutions or replenishment of individual nutrients some of the nutrients can be measured using aquarium test kits but some of those test kits do not have a range that is fitting for hydroponics. I purchased the LaMotte N-P-K soil test kit for soil based gardening but I also do some hydroponics. I have not yet found tests (or a way to use this test kit) to measure the individual hydroponic nutrients.

If you want to know how efficient your water filtering system is, you should purchase two kits: Use one kit to test the water before the filtration system and use the second kit to test the water after the filtration system. Answer:	The test is carried out by the lab, where you need to send samples of water by mail. In the box there are only vessels for filling with water, but there are no chemicals for conducting tests at home. There is only one test tube for testing water at home for bacterial contamination. Question:	How many times each strip can be used
Answer:	The answer from DeanP66 is correct; the other three are not. While it's true that the testing tube has a color scale, that's for testing pH, not Chlorine. This test kit makes measuring Chlorine levels very accurate. Is it still pink, or is it clear? Simple. No guessing whether the color is this shade or that shade. As for the pH test (where the color chart IS on the test tube), I have to say I love how easy it is to read. With traditional test strips, I can never tell what shade of orange matches the side of the bottle, but with this kit it's always easy to see. Both the colored water and the color chart are transparent, so you look through both at the same time right next to each other. No guessing. Plus, there's a chart provided in the book that comes with the kit that tells you exactly how much pH increaser or decreaser you'll need to bring things into balance. No more back and forth from adding too much and needing to compensate back the other way. You get it right the first time every time. If you want accurate measurements with no more guesswork, this is a great kit. Plus, you get to pretend you're a doing a science experiment! Of course, if you can't be bothered to spend more than 10 seconds testing your spa, go for test strips instead.

Answer:	combined chlorine-yes. total dissolved solids-no. phosphates-no. saturation index-kit tests chlorine, pH, total alkalinity, calcium hardness, cyanuric acid (stabilizer), which everything you need to calculate the saturation index using the enclosed wheel. this is the best kit on the market. taylor also makes a phosphate test kit, which i use.

Answer:	Absolutely, the kit comes with 3 bottles of solution to test CYA. You use the small side of the pH tester to test cyanaric acid.

Question:	Will the Taylor reagents work with the LaMotte meter
Answer:	Yes, this kit will measure both free chlorine and total chlorine. When performing the chlorine test, the immediate result indicates your free chlorine level. Let the test sample sit for two minutes, allowing the chlorine to fully react - now the sample will indicate total chlorine. In a healthy pool, there should be no change between the two. Question:	How often do the chemicals have to be replaced
Answer:	No, it doesn't use test strips because it's not electronic. It uses reagents and you compare the results to the color chart visually.
Question:	what is the correct way to check the chlorine in the pool water
Answer:	The Taylor K-2006 is far superior. It includes a test for Cyanuric Acid which this kit does not. You need to know your Cyanuric Acid (Cya) to know at what level to keep your chlorine. The K-2006 can also test up to 50 ppm in chlorine, this kit only goes to 5. This kit is pretty basic and if your pool is clean and clear it may be adequate, however if you ever get cloudy or green water this kit won't cut it.
