We cut our Salt Blocks no less than 2" thick, this dramatically increases the lifespan of the block because it can absorb more heat over long periods of time. Answer:	I believe it would. It works great on my ranch walkout lower level. I can't stand the mustiness, and this is the first thing I bought that makes a big difference. I bought several so I can clear out the musty smell. Worth a try. I have read that citrus great for attacking heavy odors. The citrus is fresh and clean smelling, I'm sure much better than smoke!!

Answer:	Yes. I sprayed a light mist onto quilts and cloth covered chairs. Test in small area, first.

Question:	Does the tray allow you to work with an induction stove top
Answer:	It is 1 1/2 inches. I also have one that is 2” that I purchased from another retailer. I like the 1 1/2 for the price it’s good but I like the 3” better for holding the heat longer. I plan to use the 1 1/2 on my grill this summer and it also comes with the tray which is a plus.

How To Care For Your Salt Plate:

Do not submerge the plate in water. Dry with a paper towel to remove any excess pockets of water in the plate. Air-dry the plate for at least 24 hours before next use. Store salt plate in a dry environment until next use.

Question:	Can I use this over a campfire
Answer:	I estimate it is about 300 millirems, which is background radiation level.
Question:	Does the tray go on the grill, or does the slab go directly on the grill
Answer:	I would recommend letting it cool down with the grill. We also sell stainless steel trays which makes it easier to hold with oven gloves. If you have to remove the block and continue to use the grill, you can always let it cool inside the oven. Salt absorbs heat and holds it for a while. It would take about 45-1hr to cool off. Be cautious if children are present.
Question:	Can the tray can withstand the heat of the grill
Answer:	The electric stove may take longer to transfer heat to the block, as long as it is safely secure it should be fine.

Answer:	I installed it in garage where is my fridge. I was using the same tile for about 10 years and nothing happened to it. I think it's OK to install it in a laundromat just i am not sure if it will stay for water leak.

Question:	How long do you keep your feet on then
Answer:	I wouldn't advise it. The reason these blocks are heated up in an oven first is to allow the block's temperature to rise gradually. A bit tricky over a campfire. However, you could use the frame over the campfire. That could give you some options without carrying a five pound block in your backpack.
Question:	are they reusable
Answer:	You can use it with or without the tray. It is recommended you use it with the tray for easy handling. Hope this helps :)
Question:	How long do you microwave them and how long do you keep your feet on them for proper detox
Answer:	Yes. It can withstand temperatures up to 500F. We have tested it to withstand 800F.
Question:	Received blocks but no instruction booklet. Bought 2 sets (one for gift). Can't find instructions on the internet either
Answer:	Yes, it can be used on any kind of stovetop or grill. If heating on a glass stovetop, place a metal spacer such as wok ring or pastry tin with a removable bottom on the stove so that the Himalayan Salt Block is at least 1/2 inch above the heating element. Do not put your block directly on the heating surface to avoid damage to your block and stove.

Answer:	Yes, narrow edge pieces are available with rounded tapered edge like ramp. I believe they are 2"x12". They snap together like the other floor tiles and are available with male or female edge depending on how floor is set. They work great. Only downside to flooring is it does dent when using jack stands. Otherwise durable, easy to vlean, and looks great.
