I go in there with a towel over my nose and mouth and turn it off, and leave the door close for about 20-30 minutes. I am allergic to strong smells, I get a headache. For more information Google (Is the ozone safe to use, you will get a lot of information. I did) I don't know about shared ventilation. you don't need to use the ozone to keep the air clean. I use it only once in a while.

Question:	How does this mount in a horizontal filter
Answer:	Ozone ionizers don't filter dust, certainly not fine dust. Ionization changes the dust molecules to make them approx. 10x heavier so they fall to the ground and hence are more easily swept or vacuumed up (as elsewhere described on this webpage). If you need dust removed from your household air, best to get a HEPA purifier such as Honeywell's. Their filters are harder and more expensive to find these days. My favorite HEPA purifiers are made by WINIX. Their filters are not cheap either, but they are more cost effective than Honeywell's. You use fewer of them and they seem to last longer. Don't expect a HEPA filter to last a full year despite what the manufacturer recommends. If you need HEPA and have allergies, replacing more often is essential to your breathing health, so no longer than 6 months per HEPA. More often the more you are sensitive. The charcoal filters replace ad libitum if you want an burst of charcoal cleansing of the air. The units the a screen pre-filter are easier to maintain, by vacuuming or wiping away the gross dust particles. The charcoal filters are only mildly dirty as a result. Eventually the HEPA filter becomes visibly soiled with charcoal particles moreso than dirt and dust. Many allergens are not visible to the eye even though trapped by the HEPA filter, and some are even smaller than 0.3 microns and so pass through the filter over and over. Nevertheless HEPA technology dating from the 1940s is still the best affordable air filtration available. Swiss mega-HEPA claims to be 100x more filtrations and their filters cost $200 each. However, in my experience as mold collectors they begin to fail after 30 days or less making their cost prohibitive to maintain by other than the very wealthy. If you have mold sensitivity, much of what makes you sick cannot be smelled, they are mycotoxins that are even smaller than .003 micron particles the Swiss machines filter out. It has not been proven definitively either that the Molekule high-end air purifier neutralizes or destroys mycotoxins, which are anathema to mold sufferers.

Answer:	Yes. It does help cut down on bacteria but you still need to use chemicals. We've used it in our spa for about 15 years.

Answer:	Silver ion is optional. The tub will work fine without. Silver ion helps to control and inhibit the growth of bacteria in your water, so you can reduce the amount of sanitizer (i.e. chlorine) that you add to the water.

Answer:	My hot tub has 4 filters but only one of them gets inserted with the silver ion filter - the other 3 spots do not have a place for one! You should probably read your manual, but I cannot imagine you would use any other cartridge as the other chemicals needed get added to the water directly.

Answer:	They are both made by Nature2 and the only difference is the color and the cap. I popped the cap off my blue one and put that on the yellow one as they are much cheaper and easier to find.

Answer:	No chlorine. We have a non chlorine hot tub. It have an ozinator system on it which keeps the water cleaner and clear. We use the mineral stick sanitizer with the filter to help keep it sanitized. It fits inside the filter. Use Leisure Time RENU5 Renew Non-Chorine Shock, we buy the 5-Pound container before and after each use of the tub, just a capful or 2 and turn on air jets for about 60 seconds before getting in.... do the same when you get out.... to mix it around good. Your hot tub needs air to the water occasionally when not in use, so 1/2 opening the lid for 12 hours 1x a week is good...keep the filter clean (we clean in sink with sprayer then set in top rack of dishwasher, run dishwasher (no soap/detergent) on high hot cycle, and air dry in sink over night.) People should be free of wearing perfumes or lotions prior to getting into tub if at all possible...that is what ends up clouding up the water the most.... and rain water. So keep covered on rainy days. Unit off. Hope this helps... if your unit does not have the ozinator on it...you can have one installed for around $400 possibly less, depending on the unit. If it has an ozinator in it, you should never use chlorine in it then. Hope this helps.

You need to pick up some PVC pipe. The coupler that screws onto the spa (where the filter housings screw onto) is 1.5" and reduces down to 1.25”. I used 1.25" pipe for the main housing of the mineral stick. You start with a 90 degree elbow that is 1.5" on one end that reduces to 1.25" on the other end. I have a 1.25" short length of pipe (just a little longer then the filter) that attaches to a 90 degree elbow at the bottom. I used PVC glue to seal the top and bottom elbow that connects to the 1.25” PVC pipe. It comes apart in the middle and is held just with friction so that I can empty it and reload it. You want to connect the adapter 90 degree elbow FIRST before attaching the remainder of the adapter. I have found that this hot tub mineral sanitizer stick is about half the cost of the Zodiac W20750 Nature2 SPA Stick Mineral Sanitizer and it keeps my hot tub water crystal clear. I would like to suggest to the manufacturer that they design a smaller Spa Mineral Sanitizer Stick with the measurements of 4.2" x 3.1" (10.6cm x 8.0cm). Answer:	Our hottub has an ozonator. So between a mineral stick and the ozonator it gets shocked and a tablespoon or 2 of chlorine once a week. Alot less than you'd use otherwise. This is not a complete replacement for chlorine or bromine but you'll use considerably less.

1.Cover the tub with liner and pour the water in until it covers your ankles. You must put 0.4 to 0.6 ounces of salt in the water and mix well.
