Answer:	I had a Tigershark and the basket was a pain in the butt to clean. It also would let a lot of debri back in the pool when you pulled it out. I also had the motor go out and then the next year it stopped working. It came out when everyone else was using cloth bags to catch debri. At that time the Tiger Shark was the king but there are better designed models out there unless Hayward re-designed the unit.

How long can I leave my Dolphin in the pool?

We recommend taking your Dolphin out of the pool after each use to empty and rinse the filters and to rinse off any excess chemicals. It is ideal to keep your Dolphin out of the pool and stored away when not in use. If your Dolphin has a weekly scheduler, you can keep it in your pool for a week, but you will need to make sure the filter is cleaned.

How to set the weekly timer

When the power supply is switched on, you can press the weekly timer button to select one of the following cleaning schedules for the week ahead: One click: The robot will automatically work every day for a full cycle. This cycle will have the robot clean seven times in a week. Two clicks: The robot will automatically work every other day for a full cycle; that is four times in a week. Three clicks: The robot will automatically work every three days; that is three times in a week. A fourth click will cancel the cleaning schedule program. After selecting one of the schedule options, the robot will start to operate at the next occurrence of the programed start time. If the robot is working in the weekly timer mode, the weekly timer button will constantly blink between cycles. At the end of the week, the power supply will automatically switch off and you will need to reschedule the robot.

How to take the robot out of the pool?

Gently pull on the blue floating cable to bring your Dolphin to the edge of the pool. Once your Dolphin is in reach, grasp the handle to pull the robot out of the water. Place the robot on the edge of the pool to let the remaining water drain out. Do not pull the Dolphin out of the water using the cable.

How to clean the filters

Cleaning the filters are simple. Just remove the filter(s) from the robot, release the latch to let the dirt and debris fall out, and then hose off any remaining debris. Do not let the filters dry out before cleaning them. Clogged filters reduce the effectiveness of the cleaning. We suggest cleaning your filters every two months. Bag filters can be washed in the washing machine at 30 degrees, using a synthetic wash cycle, and allow to air dry. Cartridge filters can be clean in the dishwasher at 30 degrees. Although the filters may look clean, small particles may dry into the filter material and clog the filters.

Answer:	They are 20 L and the only reason it says it’s waterproof is because it gives you a waterproof cover like they all do. It’s not very durable (already stretching at the seams). Mine is 1 year old and I wish I had bought a different one on Black Friday. I expected the bag to be waterproof without a cover because of the description- but it’s not. I also thought it would be bigger.

Answer:	I think it should be just fine. It is not a very large pack and I am 5'10 and it fits pretty nicely with maybe 4 inches of clearance. So it might cover your entire back.

Answer:	Yes, it comes with a new wiring pigtail if you need to cut off and replace your current wiring pigtail. If you are replacing a KN COSM IB unit, you will not need the wiring pigtail as you will be able to plug the new unit into the existing connector you have installed.

Answer:	Both of my KN-COSM-1B just shut down. It's like a bad battery chirp every 30 seconds meaning the alarms are too old when you replace the battery and it continues to chirp. The date on the back is Nov. 2012 which would be less than 8 years. If the instructions say 10 years, that is incorrect or an improvement from the 2012 model that lasted a little over 7 years.

Answer:	Mine ripped also after a while. I just went to Walmart and bought some very fine netting and wrapped it around the frame. 97 cents and I was back to vacuuming my pool.

Answer:	I have a Bestway 18'x9'x48" Rectangular Frame Above Ground Pool and it works on mine. I just had to remove the screen filter that goes to the return fitting but it works perfect. Picks up leaves, berries,small sticks and sand that occasionally comes out Sand Filter. This is my 3rd unit I've had. The first I purchased was one that was said to be new but was used and had leaky hoses, returned for refund. Second One that arrived was brand new but was damaged in shipping had to returned for refund. This last one is perfect so far and has updated single hose instead of the put together one. I Leave it running when grandkids aren't in the pool have not had to skim floor or water since. Note as others said you need a strong pump. I upgrade my pool to a Sand Filter,Saltwater Chlorine Generator, In Wall Skimmer and 1 1/2 Hp Pump.

Answer:	I was going to write a review about this as I just purchased it, but Amazon wouldn't let me do it saying they were not allowing reviews on it at the moment? What the heck? Anyway, I would give it a solid 4, maybe 5 if it had been assembled properly when we got it. It works now after my husband realized what was wrong. After we got it going, it does an amazingly good job of cleaning, especially for the price. Here's a trouble shooting hint if yours doesn't move when you first try it. Hope it helps. My husband wrote the following: How to troubleshoot an Intex Auto Cleaner which will not reverseWe recently bought an Intex Auto Cleaner. When we first used it, it would move across the floor of the pool, hit a wall, and then stop. It turns out that it was improperly assembled at the factory. Here are the steps to follow to fix this problem:1. Disassemble the Auto Cleaner and open the drive assembly. There is a good YouTube video on how to do this.2. After disassembly and careful removal of the cover of the drive assembly, you will notice that there is a large gear on the left side of the drive assembly. If you manually rotate this gear, you will notice that a plastic piece that resembles an upside down "U" will move to the right, stop for a bit, then reverse direction and move to the left.3. On the cover of the drive assembly, you will notice a small lever which operates a flapper valve. This flapper valve should operate freely by hand.4. CRITICAL STEP! As you reassemble the drive assembly, ensure that the small lever is placed within the upside down "U". If it is outside of the upside down"U", your Auto Cleaner will never reverse and operate as intended.Hope this help
Question:	i have an intex above ground pool with algae at the bottom that i need to remove so which vacuum do u recomend me to have
Answer:	The Intex is a fairly decent pool vac, but it will only pick up loose dirt and debris, like any pool vac will. Get your chemical balance right and use a hard pool brush (no metal!) to loosen up the algae, then use the pool vac to clean it up. I did learn that the standard 1500 GPH pump does not have enough output power to make this pool vac move. You'll need the 2500 GPH pump (which runs about $85 here on Amazon) and a clean filter to make it run good. You'll also find that the 2500 GPH pump does a lot better job at filtering your pool water.

Answer:	Unscrew from end (end that screws into turtle), cut inside variegation it's kind of hard to get back into toe cap without bending it but patience is needed. R u sure u need to cut it? It coils in on itself a lot even being too short for my pool, I just cut the hose because I had a hole in it and I replaced a section of hose before replacing whole thing eventually

Question:	Does this light have a timed amount it stays on
Answer:	I used this on my Intex metal frame pool (24' x 52") but I had to make my own connection from the water outlet vent. Intex uses a larger outlet than most above ground pools and I could not find anything that would work to size it down. Supposedly there is a part but I was never able to find one that worked. The turtle does an excellent job picking up debris though. I had a pecan tree over the swimming pool and the pecans would clog up the regular sized vacuum hoses. This worked great for that problem.

Question:	Do these socks fit the hayward w560 poolvac navigator standard leaf canister
Answer:	Are you using the hoses that came with the unit? The hoses that come with it are designed to float specifically so that doesn't happen. I have also had mine about two years with no tangling issues. Another thing to consider is the length of the hose. My pool is about 26' across and the provided hose is just long enough. If yours is smaller you may have too much hose.
Question:	Does this come with the basket
Answer:	I don't have that problem however I would say that when the acorns fall in i would try the manual brush or a piece of pvc pipe that would fit on the hose that came with your wanda since the opening would be larger. Just be careful not to scratch your liner if you use a liner.
Question:	My skimmer basket has a snap in handle/bar that goes across the top of it to make it easy to carry and lift out. Will these work with those

Answer:	We have a 24 foot dia round above ground pool. Around the edges the pool has a 3 foot flat ledge that is 3-1//2 foot deep and then concaves in the center to 5-1/2' deep. Wanda will clean the middle bowl 3-1/2 to 5-1/2 deep very well but doesn't get up on the 3-1/2 foot ledge but overall we are happy with it. This is our second Wanda.

Answer:	i dont know what you mean by earth? it has a fan on the bottom of this unit that creates suction. it cleans the bottom and sides of my pool. long palm frans get stuck in the unit that you will need to remove.

Answer:	Put your vacuum hose in a 5 gal bucket of water. If your pump will suck that dry in 10 seconds, then this cleaner will work fine for you. If not, then I would avoid it.
