Answer:	Jeez. All pool cleaners get jammed every once and a while from debris, leaves, twigs being sucked into the mechanism. If you're going to buy and use your own equipment, you need to learn how to clean out anything it sucked up. With my pine trees, I might have to clean it once a week. To the other people replying--don't blame the product if you don't know how to use it. And yes, if you can't figure out how to clean it, do take it to a pool store. Answer:	Yes. It’ll work in either. “Salt Water” pools are chlorine pools. You add salt and stabilizer and the chlorinater turns it into chlorine. It’s just a lot less chlorine. My pool is this type.

Answer:	The water is pulled through the bottom as it vacuums. The debris and water is filtered though 4 sizable filters. The resulting filtered water is then expelled through the top of the device. This device is a bulldog and cleans dirt, dead algae and leaves from your pool in one round. If the whole bottom is covered in leaves, you need to do your best to get them up and finish off with the Dolphin. This device saves me from vacuuming by hand for half the day. Also, the dirt, dead algae and general crud doesn't go through your pool filter. It completely removes it all without the risk of it going right back in and it doesn't stir up the bottom and settle back down after you vacuum. Come back a few hours later and it's still clean.

How long can I leave my Dolphin in the pool?

We recommend taking your Dolphin out of the pool after each use to empty and rinse the filters and to rinse off any excess chemicals. It is ideal to keep your Dolphin out of the pool and stored away when not in use. If your Dolphin has a weekly scheduler, you can keep it in your pool for a week, but you will need to make sure the filter is cleaned.

How to use the power supply

Make sure the power supply is placed at least 12 feet from the edge of the pool. Connect the floating cable to the power supply, align the lug on the connector with the notch of the plug on the power supply, then turn clockwise. Press the ON/OFF button on the power supply to begin cleaning. The power supply for your Dolphin is not waterproof- it is water resistant. When in use, make sure it was either stored on the caddy or far away from the pool, so it does not get pulled in. Always use an electrical outlet protected with a Ground Fault Interrupter (GFI) device; this will protect your Dolphin from surges in power. Do not use an extension cord or surge protector to power your Dolphin.

How to take the robot out of the pool?

Gently pull on the blue floating cable to bring your Dolphin to the edge of the pool. Once your Dolphin is in reach, grasp the handle to pull the robot out of the water. Place the robot on the edge of the pool to let the remaining water drain out. Do not pull the Dolphin out of the water using the cable.

How to store/roll/operate cable

When you Dolphin is in use, only release enough of the cable for your Dolphin to properly cover your pool. Leave the excess cable loosely rolled outside of the pool. When storing your Dolphin on a caddy, carefully wrap the cable so it does not have any kinks and place it around the top of the caddy. Once a week, unplug the cable from the power supply and unwind the tangled portions of the cable, straighten it out and leave in the sun for a few hours. This will help remove any tangling or kinks.

I also had the motor go out and then the next year it stopped working. It came out when everyone else was using cloth bags to catch debri. At that time the Tiger Shark was the king but there are better designed models out there unless Hayward re-designed the unit.

How to set the weekly timer

When the power supply is switched on, you can press the weekly timer button to select one of the following cleaning schedules for the week ahead: One click: The robot will automatically work every day for a full cycle. This cycle will have the robot clean seven times in a week. Two clicks: The robot will automatically work every other day for a full cycle; that is four times in a week. Three clicks: The robot will automatically work every three days; that is three times in a week. A fourth click will cancel the cleaning schedule program. After selecting one of the schedule options, the robot will start to operate at the next occurrence of the programed start time. If the robot is working in the weekly timer mode, the weekly timer button will constantly blink between cycles. At the end of the week, the power supply will automatically switch off and you will need to reschedule the robot.

How to clean the filters

Cleaning the filters are simple. Just remove the filter(s) from the robot, release the latch to let the dirt and debris fall out, and then hose off any remaining debris. Do not let the filters dry out before cleaning them. Clogged filters reduce the effectiveness of the cleaning. We suggest cleaning your filters every two months. Bag filters can be washed in the washing machine at 30 degrees, using a synthetic wash cycle, and allow to air dry. Cartridge filters can be clean in the dishwasher at 30 degrees. Although the filters may look clean, small particles may dry into the filter material and clog the filters.

Q1: Why does my pool cleaner would not sink to the bottom of the pool?

1. Make sure all of the air in the cleaner has escaped by slowly submersing in water.

2. The roller brushes are made of sponge, as you know the sponge will get harden if has not been used for a long time. Therefore please make sure your sponge brushes are completely soaked and soft for the first use, and you can squeeze the sponge while in the water to allow a full soak for approx. 1 hour before placing the machine. Then the cleaner will do a great job for you!

Q2: It seems my automatic pool cleaner just sits at the bottom of the pool and won't move. What should I do?

1. Check if the LED power supply is flashing. If it is flashing this may be because your scheduled cleaning is done, change your default time or restart the machine. 2. Ensure there is not a blockage in the filter basket. 3. Check if there is a broken belt on the bottom of the cleaner, if you are experiencing this issue, tell us by toll-free number 877 756 8666( Mon.-Fri. : 9:00-17:00 PST). Answer:	I live in Florida where the cleaner runs 5-6 hours per day 365 days per year and a scrub disk last at least three years. Save your money and wait until you need a new one and you can get it cheaper buying it by itself than the cleaner with an extra scrub disk package deal.
Question:	Can I replace a G2 with a G3 without any special modifications? Are they interchangeable
Answer:	You should be able to replace the G2 with the G3, with out problems.However, check the hose weight placement on the first hose BEHIND the G3 and check the suction at the end of the LAST hose, before attaching the G3. If you want a WONDERFUL addition, and I would HIGHLY recommend it, buy the TWISTER and add it between the first and second hose sections at the wall or basket strainer connection. It will COMPLETELY eliminate the hose curling and allow the vacuum to access ALL point of the pool. Even the STEPS!! It's wonderful!

Answer:	It does better with big things like leaves, and not very good with silt. It develops holes (pretty quickly in my case), so small things slip out easily. The hose is long enough for the deep end - it's that the bag isn't designed well.

Question:	Does this unit clean the waterline or just the walls up to the waterline
Answer:	I did have it mounted on the boat. I drilled the interior with a tape template to fit a Kamco mount. 6 Big Stainless washers on the inside. Lasted 3 years then replaced guts of the unit which cost $60. Unit got stolen somehow? I wanted to replace it but the hardware was frozen on from the heat and cooling cycles. Hard working Thieves? I bought a second unit and found it did not work very well at all. No more Stansport or Magma. Junk and expensive Junk.

Why no matter what I did, the automatic pool cleaner would not sink to the bottom of the swimming pool?

• Please kindly note that the roller foam brushes are made of sponge. As we all know, the sponge will harden if it has not been used for a long time. So the sponge brush will harden if the machine has not been used for a long time. It is recommended to soak the pool cleaner in the water for about 30Min when you using it for the first time. The sponge roller foam brushes need to be completely soaked in order to sink for initial use. In order to prevent the sponges from solidifying before shipped out from the factory, we have dampened the sponge roller brushes. But we spent a long time in shipping them to America, so it is normal that the sponge brush hardened.

My pool cleaner just sits at the bottom of the pool and won’t move after several passes., what can I do?

1. Check if the LED on power supply flashes, if yes, it may because it scheduled for 1 hour and has completed cleaning. ( The default time is 1 hour).
2. Check if there is a blockage in the filter basket. You can just clean up the filter basket and restart the machine.
3. Check if the small inner belt was broken( see below image), if yes, please let paxcess know and get a replacement. (Tips: Please don't use the cleaner immediately after spraying pool chemical, or it will cause belts broken easily.)If the belt is fine, there may be something wrong with the motor, in this case, pls let paxcess know-----Toll-free number: 877 756 8666( Mon.-Fri. : 9:00-17:00 PST).

Can I use the pool cleaner instantly after put pool chemicals into my pool?

• NO! You can't. Do not use the cleaner immediately after spraying the pool chemicals and do not use the cleaner as a dosing machine, which will damage and corrode the belts. If the belt is broken, please let us know directly and we will help you to solve this issue perfectly as per your willingness.

Why I soaked my pool cleaner for several hours, but it hasn't sunk to the bottom?

• Please turn on the pool cleaner after 1-2 hours of full immersion. Then the pool cleaner will sink to the bottom of the pool instantly.
