Question:	Will this work with the pentair rebel? It appears I bought a 1.5 inch in diameter hose from Lowe’s but it was a tad to big. Will this one work for me
Answer:	I do not own a Rebel, but looking at it on the web, the hoses appear to be the same as the ones that came with my Pentair Great White. Note that, just like the original hose that came with my GW, no matter how tight the connection of the hose sections, a bit of air will enter at each connection that floats at water level. They sell weights to submerge the hose that I am considering buying. Back to your issue: I would contact the seller and ask.

Question:	Can this be buried underground
Answer:	There is an adapter that you attach to the hose to. The hoses are supposed to leak a bit at the joints. I've had mine a year and a half and it works fine for me.

Answer:	It is NOT a vacuum. It gets hooked up to the pump outflow. It has a "Basket", which is more like a pool screen. It does catch some dirt, but I believe the way it keeps the pool clean is by keeping the dirt from settling on the bottom, and by keeping the dirt suspended, the main pool filter will pick it out.
Question:	Is this for use in above ground pools
Answer:	These run on pressure side of pump not vac side. Yes the joints leak due to being cheap quality. This system need 4000 to do its job Properly. About four times a year you’re gonna have to pull a part is vegetable oil on anything that moves/rotates otherwise it gets stuck and won’t move the wheels won’t turn properly they won’t swivel properly and you need maximum output to make this thing run properly.

Answer:	I don't know what a yescom above ground vaccum is. This is pool hose. I use it on my filter pump and robot pool vac that roams the bottom of my pool. The inner diameter of the male and female end is 1.5". They are stiff so you have to connect them with a metal hose clamp as tight as you can. Hope this helps.

Question:	The 2 inch backwash hose is big for my filter, how can I use it without leaks
Answer:	Mine always leaks a bit when I backwash even when I tighten the clamp down really well. One thing I’ve done to reduce some of the leakage is to fold about 2” of hose into the inside of the hose end before attaching it to the backwash tube and tightening the clamp. It still leaks, but no where near as much. Since I only have to backwash 4-5 times a summer, I’m satisfied with this (almost) fix.
Question:	i bought this but it is really a struggle to fit into my 2 in pipe of the pool? Any suggestions
Answer:	Yes it fits real tight, try cutting 1/4 inch down on the sides (cut when flat the 2 ends)it will make it easier to start sliding it on the pipe. It will also stretch a tiny bit after a lot of use. You will get used to it after a while, it's the best one out there, no holes so far!

No, the end is NOT tapered and it is NOT flexible and it will NOT fit inside the intake tube which is smaller. I'm currently shipping for an Intex-to-pool vacuum hose adaptor. In fairness, Intex and standard pool accessories don't play nice together.

Answer:	I don’t know if it is.
Question:	I need an overflow hose for my rain barrel. I'm not sure if the water pressure will be enough to open the hose and allow the water to flow
Answer:	I use this very extra heavy duty backwash hose to pump out the water on top of the pool cover with a 1 horsepower sump pump motor so I think this hose will not work for just a overflow hose, if your rain barrel has a top overflow water valve a regular garden hose should work for you!!!!!

Answer:	I’m not sure if it is rubber, but it feels like rubber. It is very solid and heavy. I got the 100 foot roll. I need to put it on the ground to roll it back up cause it’s so heavy. I think it’s very sturdy and will last a long time not like the clear ones I’ve had in the past. I think it’s a very good buy for the money.
