Answer:	I never noticed any honey bees or bumble bees in our trap. Not sure why anyone would kill those. The lures (3 different types) that are included are supposed to be for wasps, hornets, and yellowjackets (which is why the trap’s name is WHY. Those are the ones that ruin your picnic. Answer:	The trap should be placed a minimum of 20 feet from known wasps/hornets nest to make sure that insects will find the trap. You also want to place it at least 20 feet from areas inhabited by people to ensure that wasps/hornets are not too close to people. Make sure to follow the instructions on the package.

Answer:	It states it can be used to attract carpenter bees, so I would say no. Any insect that lands on the sticky coating will get stuck.

Answer:	Yes, it could be used inside. The trap does have bait that attracts the yellow jackets. This cotton ball with some liquid chemical could potentially draw insects inside the house (but that seems like less of a problem than having them already in the house).

Answer:	The first time we used ours we used a commercial pheromone in it. It only got a couple yellow jackets though, so we started experimenting with things we already had around the house. The stuff we are using now seems to work a lot better than the pheremone product we originally got, but maybe you can find a better one and it will work well for you. It's definitely do-able. :)

Answer:	I have 4 traps in backyard and have to clean them out frequently. They catch many types of insects not just bees. I don't count the different pests, all I know it's the easiest way that works to trap all the pests you have in your yard and didn't know you had. I have even seen dead mosquitos. I drink Welch's guava/pineapple flavored juice which I purchase at my local grocery store and also use it to attract the pests. I've tried all other traps available and these traps actually work great. I've tried many others and just wasted my money. Hope this helps.

Answer:	If you follow the directions, it does work. It takes awhile to draw in the wasps, but eventually they will attract and get trapped... also, it attracts flies as well.

Answer:	I filled it with the recipe provided in the manual and hung it from tree branches. It is amazing. I usually don’t review products but this worked great. It was full of wasps. I plan on buying more.

Answer:	Open it up, add bait, close and hang. Insects crawl in the holes, but can't crawl out. For bait, I use apple juice and some kind of meat. Make sure to add a drop or two of dish soap to the juice.

Question:	Will this catch the Japanese hornet
Answer:	I can't speak directly to trapping the very large Japanese hornet because they're only found on a few Asian islands. But, if they can fit through the 0.3875" (0.98425 cm) funnel hole and you know what they're attracted to...then yes they can be trapped. They primarily consume other insects so try using an protein attractant like fish or red meat. Start by experimenting with that attractant in the 2-liter bottle. Good luck! Question:	Is this effective with ground nesting hornets
Answer:	I have wasps, not hornets, and our wasps were in underground nests. It was very effective. We had 3 bottles and had to empty them constantly. We found that apple juice concentrate was the most effective bait - the manufacterer recommends cat food but that was ineffective for us. Two cans of frozen apple juice concentrate per 2 liter bottle made 'em come running...to their deaths! This year, we built a huge garden over their nests in addition to the fatal funnels. I've seen 2. :)
Question:	Would this catch flies
Answer:	Not as well as the fly trap version. The flies are attracted to the blue fly funnels. Wasps are attracted to yellow
Question:	I don't want to kill honey bees. Does this work for just wasps and yellow jackets
Answer:	We baited ours with apple juice and raw meat. Plenty of red wasps, but no bees even though there are plenty around here.
