As with any great product, there may be certain circumstances or conditions, which would reduce the product’s effectiveness. It's very important not to bait our glue traps with anything oily, such as peanut butter or cheese. Oils compromise the integrity of the glue on glue trays making it possible for a rodent to get off the trap. In fact, anything that coats the top layer of the glue will reduce the effectiveness. So, it's also important to try to avoid placing them in dusty areas. If this can't be avoided, we suggest changing a trap more frequently. | Answer: | This is totally personal preference. Sometimes the mouse is dead when you find it, sometimes it's not. I would not put it anywhere that another animal or child could get to. If it's already dead, no problem, just throw it in the trash you are taking out. If it's not dead you choose what bothers you the least and make it quick or out of site. Either way, anything that touches the glue will get stuck to it and you'll need goo be gone to get it off efficiently. These are the most effective mouse traps I've used. I paid an extermination company a lot of money and they caught zero mice. I bought a bunch of these traps and put them in the mouse running paths and caught all of them. Hope this helps. |

| Answer: | Living on a farm we get mice more often than we would like. I bought these, and they haven't failed. Work everything for us! Snaps super hard. Just place a tiny bit of peanut butter within the reserve. That's all you need. If it was snapped and the bait gone, then either too much bait, or I have no clue. There is no way a mouse is getting away from this trap! |

| Answer: | I did not have that problem with these. The ones caught with these traps were trapped good and all were dead. I checked the traps about every 6 hrs because we hate mice-almost made us want to sell our house and move. I ordered 2 sets of 2. At this great price, when it "caught" a mouse, I threw it all away. I also bought about a dozen of the plastic (black with yellow) ones that are like the old school ones. They were equally affordable and considered them "disposable" as well. Both kinds were extremely effective and caught more than my Orkin guy did. His glue traps were wholly ineffective. When they say you see one but you really have 5 or 6, they aren't kidding. *I do not recommend the electric traps. It never worked and was a waste of $20. |

Use with Tomcat Attractant Gel
Enhance the effectiveness of the Tomcat Press ‘N Set Mouse Trap with the Tomcat Attractant Gel (sold separately) to attract mice. To set the trap, simply press the set bar until you hear it click into place.
Easy To Use
After baiting and setting the trap, place it where mice are active. For best results, place the trap in an active runway. A runway is the route mice take from their nest to their food source. After catching a mouse, simply use the trap’s grab tab to dispose of the rodent.
Treatment Tips
For best results, place 2 traps 5-10 ft. apart and target areas with high mice activity such as: near refrigerators, stoves, pantries, between washer and dryer or along baseboards.
Signs of Rodent Problems

You don't need to kill squirrels though. If the squirrels are getting into your bird feeders and such, there's so many better ways to keep them out of it than killing them. |
