Answer:	Vegetable oil, or something like “goop be gone”. Whenever dealing with extremely sticky messes, if veg oil doesn’t work, try something like fine sawdust or clean cat litter to adhere to the glop and allow it to be scrapped up.

Answer:	We caught 424 mice and rats in 6 months - yes, I counted - mostly with these glue boards, on our ranch. Mice do not live long , they do not starve to death. They get their noses stuck and suffocate. If i catch one that has not suffocated i simply flip it over and stomp it with my boots. Not pleasant, but when you think about it most mice get eaten by a cat, snake, raptor, coyote, and so on which is not very pleasant either. Rats get stuck but last longer because they are bigger and do not get their noses stuck and suffocate like the mice. So the dogs finish rats. If you do not have dogs a shovel would probably be the quickest. These are the best of several bad options to control rodents, much better than poison that the other animals might get into, plus poison will give the rodent a long, agonizing death and then they die inside your walls and smell for weeks.

Answer:	I have caught several rattlers in my garage on these traps. My intent was for mice and rats, but if a rattlesnake is in my garage, I am glad to catch it with this trap. Answer:	I doubt the scented trigger is effective at all. We always use food as bait. The empty trap has never caught anything. However, the trigger is large enough to easily hold the bait, making it very effective at catching rats.

Question:	Will this work for squirrels
Answer:	Yes. It kills pine squirrels. I’ve never had a problem with Gray or fox squirrels so I don’t know if it works on them. But pine squirrels are extremely destructive and failing to live trap them and move them during the summer which I do, when they start moving in in the fall I believe it’s more humane to have them zapped rather then take them somewhere where they have no shelter or food stocked and suffer through a snowy winter. The recent run was attacking the headliner on a new car for nesting material.

Answer:	I love this device and yes to the giant rat. Thought I had squirrels in my wall, put a few of these up in the attic and got seven. Yes seven rats over two days. I checked them twice a day. What I like is the rat is dead in the trap. I just pick up the trap, pour the rat out into bucket (husband gets to empty bucket). And rest. After two days. No more rats. Love these. Question:	frankly I have loaded the trap but just can't see how the rat is supposed to get to the bait. How does the rat get to the bait
Answer:	I bought the 8 pound package of the solid bait bars and they lasted two years. The last ones were as effective as the first. Just bought 8 pounds more.

Answer:	I don't know why they say that. I throw it under our mobile home to keep mice from getting in our house but you don't want your pets to get at it or it will kill them if they get it and eat it. We get mice every winter and they wreak havic if they get in the house by traveling up the pipes under the house, like where the sink water pipes and drain pipes are. We had a mouse that kept eating the bait but didn't die from it. (I think they've changed the poison formula thanks to the freakin EPA and we finally gave up and got some snap traps that caught the vermin.) I don't use the bait anymore, just snap traps.

Answer:	Bromadiolone is a very potent anticoagulant rodenticide and works extremely well and is the active ingredient in just one bite 2 bait cake. Deadly with a capital D. It is potentially quite dangerous to use around animals that may potentially ingest the poisoning victims carcass, still alive or dead. Many dogs, cats and birds die each year from this type of poison and Extreme caution is advised in product placement as well due to high accidental poisoning potential.
Question:	What's the difference between tomcat's " tier i" and the "tier ii" bait station
Answer:	I bought this stuff and although the mice ate it, it didn't kill them. They kept coming back. If you have a rat, maybe it's a pack rat and they will take the poison sqares back to their nest. You don't have to do anything. If you're lucky the rat will eat enough of it to kill it. I don't know if EPA rules made this company change the poison in them but it doesn't work and kill the rodents like it used to. It used to kill them dead with just one bite like it says on the package but it don't work like that anymore; at least it didn't work for the mice we get in our kitchen every winter. We had to use snap traps to get rid of the mice.

Answer:	No. I have not seen any mice after putting J T Eaton down.

Answer:	Yes, absolutely. I use them in a bait box, but like where my shed is and other things that they were getting behind I would just put them out there loose. They also seem to like them and they seem to work.

Answer:	This product is useless. Rats will not eat it. A waste of money. If you must touch it please wear gloves.

Question:	It's my 3rd order & last if i don't catch these rats. disappointed. glue isnt strong enough & they escape after. are these defective
Answer:	I can't answer your question but I would suggest not using the bait cups. Just smear a little peanut butter or put a piece of a hot dog on the trap.
Question:	Does the glue kill the rodent
Answer:	Yes, you could tape or zip tie. But they are very sensitive and kill rats if they trip them.
Question:	Does this work for snakes
Answer:	Not sure but they don’t work too good.
Question:	How well do these work outside
Answer:	If you had this trap outside, you probably got a larger animal, or a larger rodent by the leg and dragged it off, if the trap comes down on their head, they are done. I had one go missing as well. Did get rid of my problem. Try to secure the trap in an area so it can't be dragged off. Also another instance, you may have trapped your rodent and another animal picked it up to eat it and dragged it off.

Question:	Has anyone used these for ground squirrels, and if so, any success
Answer:	Hi- We're very sorry our mouse traps did not meet your expectations. As with any great product, there may be certain circumstances or conditions, which would reduce the product’s effectiveness. It's very important not to bait our glue traps with anything oily, such as peanut butter or cheese. Oils compromise the integrity of the glue on glue trays making it possible for a rodent to get off the trap. In fact, anything that coats the top layer of the glue will reduce the effectiveness. So, it's also important to try to avoid placing them in dusty areas. If this can't be avoided, we suggest changing a trap more frequently. Question:	Is this an upgraded version of the tomcat secure-kill rat trap? the secure-kill works but it breaks after one rat
Answer:	Our glue is pesticide free and does not kill mice upon contact. If a live mouse is found on board it can be released in a humane fashion by adding any oil based product to the glue. Thank you for choosing Catchmaster!

Question:	If I put quantity at one will I still get 2 traps
Answer:	We currently use these for chipmunks (ground squirrels). They work absolutely great. Set the trap and bait with black sunflower seeds. We've had to attach the traps to tent stakes to prevent larger animals from carrying off the trap.
Question:	What are the dimensions of the trap
Answer:	I had no problems with the last version and like this version better for being able to remove the bait part. I'm getting mice, rats, and chipmunks. For me, it's lasted several kills before the trap needs replacing.
Question:	Will this work on Squirrels
Answer:	I had one batch of traps whose bait cups broke the first or second time that each trap snapped (specifically the tabs at the bottom are what failed). I emailed the manufacturer, who mailed me a bag of 25 replacement cups. I haven't had any cups break in the past year, so I think that I just had one bad batch.

Answer:	Yes, they work well for squirrels, I don't know about "squerrals" they seem like a mythical creature only found in the Fire Swamps, Westley and Buttercup had to use a sword to kill the ones they encountered.

Question:	Plastic mouse traps
Answer:	These are so large. I had a tiny mouse and my cousin had a "mouse trap" that looked exactly like these, with the fake cheese and all. So I buy them, never dreaming that these traps are for huge field rats. I have been so busy I never returned them, but I'm SO glad you were smart enough to ask about dimensions. I am usually very savvy about these little details, but this one got by me. Unless you have RATS that are quite large, go Lowe's, Home Depot or a hardware store so you can actually see what you are buying. Happy hunting for whichever critter you are after
Question:	It's trap best for rats
Answer:	I use them to keep gophers out of the garage. It should work on the littler black squirrels and I think it would on the larger brown ones. If you have a squirrel problem and not much else has worked, I wouldn't hesitate to give these a try, just keep your fingers out of the way when setting these.
