Answer:	bucket not include in the package, you can need a abandoned bucket to set the mouse trap , the diameter of the bucket about 11.4 to 12.1 inch.

Question:	Will this work for good size rats ... about
Answer:	I doubt it. The plank that the animals walk on and trigger, once at the end, is only 6 inches long. Plus, I believe the weight of the rat would trigger a release when a good portion of its body would still be in contact with whatever you would hang it on.
Question:	Can I screw this to a fence and put the bucket underneath it
Answer:	These work so well that it is very possible the mouse would drop off to one side and miss the bucket if it is feet below the plank, or hit the fence during the fall and hit the edge of the bucket and not go in. This setup is not optimal for this type of trap. The idea is to have the whole plank already over the water so you absolutely cannot miss the catch. If your putting the bucket by a fence, why wouldn't you put the trap on the bucket. These things work awesome and never fail. I did have to modify the bucket edge by notching a little plastic on the bucket rim so the slots of the trap fit into them.
Question:	How do you calibrate it? I understand you turn the screw but what around the house can I use to test the weight
Answer:	There are two screws. The one not touching the magnet is the one you should use to adjust the Plank. I adjusted the screw to Plank so the screw touching the magnet is no longer touching the magnet . The gab is less than the thickness of a toothpick. I can put the pointy part of the toothpick in the gap but not the whole toothpick. The one issue you may have is the amount of Peanut Butter you put on the end. If you put too much on the end, the trap may not reset its self.
Question:	Where is the listing for the "new and improved" version of this walk the plank trap? I've only seen it on ebay
Answer:	I'm not sure if there is a new and improved version. these things work so well and are 100% kill trap. You can't get much simpler than what they are. The only modification i can see would be a bit bigger slot on the side to fit over any bucket. I just notched out a bit of the bucket rim and it drop in the slots perfectly. Killing machines !!

Question:	would this work for baby mice that aren’t as heavy as an adult mouse
Answer:	It is pretty much "hair trigger". I think it would trip on a baby mice.

Answer:	Nope...
Question:	I'm reading a lot of folks saying it's not working.... is that mostly because the mice are jumping out of the bucket
Answer:	You need a fairly deep bucket- but also, put water about 4 inches deep in the bucket so the mice drown. In winter, use antifreeze. I am very happy with our purchase- we use them in our chicken house and man oh man, are we trapping mice.
Question:	My plank is not automatically resetting itself. I need to manually reset it. Do you have any suggestions
Answer:	Use less peanut butter on the end of the plank (this is often my problem). Just a very slight smudge of peanut butter is all that is needed as the mice will smell any amount and come to look. Remember, they aren't actually going to be able to eat any so what you place will stay there. If that doesn't help, there is an adjustment screw under the plank. Turn it clockwise to decrease the magnet hold, or counter clockwise to increase the magnet hold. It's counter intuitive, but you screw in the screw deeper so it is a little further away from the magnet, which decreases the pull between the two. You remove the screw a little (counter clockwise) to get closer to the magnet to increase the hold between the two. Thus, letting the magnet work and reset the trap.

Answer:	No experience with rats. Works great for mice, and I would think it would be effective for rats if you deepened your bucket water level.

Answer:	I've used winter windshield washer fluid as my liquid instead of water during cold temps. I use tongs to remove the mice so I don't need to keep dumping the fluid.

Answer:	After watching the excellent YouTube videos of Shawn Woods, who has tested and critiqued hundreds of rodent cathing devices, this one is one of the most effective, iinm. The washer in the middle requires the rat/mouse to jump/hop/crawl/walk/scamper over this thing to get to the other side or else turn around and go back the way he came. Question:	What do you put in the water in the winter time to keep it from freezing
Answer:	You know, that’s a very good question. I have used mine, which works great, mostly in warmer areas. I haven’t used it in freezing cold yet. I don’t like the idea of using antifreeze, since it is hard to dispose of. I am used to throwing mouse/water into garden. I do have a suggestion though. Years ago I was storing some sand in a white bucket in my unheated garage. After a while I noticed a mouse had fallen in. It seemed dehydrated. I think the sand acted as a desiccant & sort of mummified the mouse. I tossed it in my garden. I would try several inches of sand & see what happens, much easier “cleanup”

Answer:	It is possible to catch a few mice when it is set-up for rats. I would not recommend this trap for just mice. Most of the mice that are caught with this trap just fall off the end of the trap. They are to small to dunk the trap. I recommend the Walk The Plank Mouse Trap. thank you

Question:	What is the "bait"? Is it just penut butter or something else entirely
Answer:	Yes it is peanut butter. They supply a small amount which is thick like a paste. We just put our own after the initial one that came is gone. The bait they include -to me- does not have a strong smell like normal peanut butter.
Question:	Not many people actually catching anything. Do you have to clean and put fresh bait on every night
Answer:	I finally caught a single mouse with this trap. The peanut butter bait does dry up with time, particularly when the trap is placed outside, so it probably should be replaced every other day.
Question:	How long is the bar? What diameter bucket does it work with
Answer:	Standard size utility bucket. We bought ours from Walmart but, the Orange Home Depot buckets are the perfect size. You wanna make sure it has enough height.
Question:	What prevents the mice from jumping out of the bucket if I use the trap without water
Answer:	The manufacture's guide recommends either oiling or using soap on the sides and bottom of the bucket to prevent the mice from escaping.

Answer:	I bought the metal rolling in September, but I didn't really know what bucket it was suitable for. Then I asked the seller, and he told me to use a 7 gallon bucket. I bought 7 gallons of buckets. It works very well. It can catch big mice. In October, I bought PVC ROLLING, and this time I used 5 gallons of paint barrels. Completely conform to! No problem! Question:	Do you have to make your own ramp
Answer:	Yes. Go to Home Depot and buy a furring strip, (a wooden board about 2 inches wide) and they'll cut it to the length you want. Comes in 8 foot lengths and costs about a dollar. You'll probably find a use around the house for the remaining 6 feet.
