Bugs should not be active inside a refrigerator, as it operates at a temperature that would make most insects hibernate. Your refrigerator should operate at a temperature of 33°f-42°f.

Answer:	I've been having a battle with tachinid flies as well. Along with putting a mesh cage over a milkweed and transferring freshly laid eggs onto there to keep the caterpillars safe, I use these bags and I see the nasty tachinids crawl in there.
Question:	How far away from your living space do you have to hang them? I live in a city and worry that my backyard isn't large enough to escape the smell
Answer:	I dont think they will work for you. I hang them on the fence by my manure dumpster. Once they get ripe, I can smell them from at least 100 feet away. Since I live in a rural horse & cow neighborhood, it just blends in with all the other animal smells. The other problem is, they attract flys. Flys from all over will smell them and come to them. That works for me because the bags are hung out by the manure dumpster and they are killing flys coming from all my neighbor's houses too. If you are in a normal city neighborhood, it will probably be too stinky and gross.

Answer:	We have bought this one for 4 years and it works great. We keep it to the rear of the yard as it is very stinky and when that bag gets full - yes, it does have 20,000 flies in it. We are happy to be killing future generations of those dirty flies!

Answer:	Purchased 7.10.19. NO, it does not have a locking cap ... it also does not come with a hanger. The top pulls up and provides access to add water to the attractant. The top has a hole to loop a hanger (not provided) through. It has a powerful odor so put it a ways away from your sitting area. When the bag is full DOUBLE bag it to dispose. I did not and had to disinfect my garbage can to eliminate the smell. The big box store item is better - for pennies more uou get a locking top and hanger.

Answer:	I used one of the replacement glue pads as a template on basic yellow sticky traps. Two discs can be cut from one sheet, and has the advantage of being double sided. Seemed to work just as well. MUCH less expensive and more readily available than the Katchy glue boards. Please understand that my problem was with fungus gnats. If you problem is with some other type of insect, your milage may vary.

Answer:	Not advised for house flies. I just got these and while within the first minutes a couple house flies had landed on it. I checked back later and there were zero flies on it. They escaped.
