Answer:	I don't know what type of worm you saw, but there are things called carpet beetles that lay eggs in garments and those create a tiny worm looking creature that is the larvae that eats cloth. I know because I had them once! If it is indeed carpet beetle larvae these traps won't work.

Answer:	I haven't seen any additional moths coming in from outside because of the traps. I only noticed that in the immediate vicinity around the trap, the moth activity picked up a great deal. Almost every trap has close to 10 moths stuck to the glue. Very effective.

Answer:	I had the moths in my closet. I see no reason that this product would NOT work on balls of wool yarn. Just put the little triangle in where you store your wool yard. If you need to know more, call the company. I have been using this product for years. I LOVE IT.

Answer:	oh, both, i'm sure. if it kills the existing problem (to a good extent, at least), then why would it not keep them in check before a big problem. if u don't have any moths, why get them, unless u predict that u will. not sure why you'd predict the problem, but u might. i have had a really bad problem for years. i live in a 20' X 10' cottage, with a big closet and bathroom. these have a 3-month cycle, they say. i plan to get another round towards the end of that. my cottage is old, and pretty porous.

Answer:	Thanks for the question. The glue in the trap is strong enough to capture the beetles. However, there are no attractants included that will draw the carpet beetle in. This trap is specifically for the two worst offending moths that feed on cloth: the case bearing (aka case making) and the web spinning moth.

Answer:	Two traps per pack. I found them to be useless. I didn't trap a single moth. They flew right by the traps.

Answer:	The lure can last for several years when kept unopened. Opened lure will last for up to three months.

Answer:	I think the reason they say to drop the lure through the hole is so it sticks to the middle of the sticky stuff. They don't want you to put the lure on the edges of the sticky area. You need to draw the moths to the center to make sure they get stuck there. The instructions also say to hang it at eye level for best results. If you're 5 ft. tall or 7'6" that would be quite a different height. :)
Question:	Has anyone safely gotten rid of the eggs? Exterminator site says washing clothes does not kill them
Answer:	Folks seem to be posting various ideas here, so a couple tips (in addition to whatever else you're trying):1) We get the clothing moths, and they always go straight for my most expensive wool suits! I've never tried freezing, but periodically I empty the closet and throw things in the dryer for 5-10 minutes on high heat. Don't know if it kills, but should shake eggs loose and trap in the lint bin.2) Make your own Cedar Spray! This definitely works. Get a big spray bottle (or empty windex-type bottle), fill with rubbing alcohol, and add some drops of cedar essential oil (available on Amazon, very inexpensive). Roughly 2 drops of oil per ounce of liquid, may vary by brand of oil, just add until it smells nice and strong, but not pungent. Hang a wash cloth or piece of fabric, and douse it really good with the cedar spray. Then a light spray on *all* the other items in the closet. Repeat monthly. It will make your clothes smell a little woodsy, but it's not a bad smell, and they air out fairly quickly once you have them on.3) For those with moth holes in clothes... a quick simple repair using Bo Nash Fuse-it Powder (available here on Amazon for cheap). No sewing! Makes moth holes invisible. Go to Youtube for tutorials.

Question:	Several moths appeared in the living room when I set these up but did not fly into the trap. Why
Answer:	I use these successfully, but I have never witnessed a moth fly directly into the trap. I do find the evidence later that they have been caught in the trap. I do find it more effective to use these in combination with moth killing spray as these traps attract only the males , and you need to kill the females and larvae too. Hope this helps you .
Question:	Can these strips be used without the trap
Answer:	I decided that they could and I just used whatever I had around to secure the trap to. An old shoe box top can be cut to fit. I don't even bother taking the sticky strip off. BTW, these traps are great. I've trapped lots of moths and so far my sweaters seem ok. I just change them every 3 months.
Question:	how many traps do I need and where should they be placed
Answer:	We had a bad moth infestation throughout our house (came home to it after a long vacation) and placed 1-2 of these in every closet and room, and then did moth remediation, laundering/airing out all clothes, having all rugs washed, washing all closet surfaces, throwing out damaged rugs and sweaters. At first, the traps collected dozens of moths. It was quite an ordeal, and ever since, we have used 1-2 of these in every room or closet as sentinels so that if the moths come back, we will see them on the traps. We put them on closet shelves and on top of wardrobes. We have only seen a few moths since that big infestation, and the traps give us some peace of mind. They are pricey, but a pittance compared to the cashmere sweater damage I had during our big infestation! These pheromone traps were recommended to me by an exterminator--he said that they are the best thing for moths, and that they are expensive because the pheromone is expensive. Good luck.

Question:	Can these traps attract more moths from outside because of the Pheromones
Answer:	I haven't seen any additional moths coming in from outside because of the traps. I only noticed that in the immediate vicinity around the trap, the moth activity picked up a great deal. Almost every trap has close to 10 moths stuck to the glue. Very effective.
Question:	Do I have to put these is a dark enclosed space like a cabinet or can they be out in the open
Answer:	The moths come out when it is dark and they are attracted to light at night. I put all three traps in the open areas, not in cabinets. In fact, I have caught more moths in an area close to a night light. I have caught nearly 200 moths in those three traps. And I did not think that I had a bad moth problem. Turns out that I did. The attractant in the traps brings them out like a lure.
