User questions & answers
Question: | Does this dry clear and can it be used on fabric |
Answer: | I am a retired Electrician of over 35 years and 12/3 is good for 20 amps and the 10/3 is good for 30 amps and this is from the NEC that regulates the electrical trade so you could use the 12/3 for a freezer if need be but you would be better off not using any extension cords if you can. As for house wiring it is NOT all 12 Gage wire, only the Kitchen is 12 Gage the rest is 14 Gage which is 15 amp circuits. |

User questions & answers
Question: | Can I spray it over carpet? Does it stink afterwards |
Answer: | I would never want to kill any of my centerpieces. They look nice on my coffee table. If you don't like your centerpieces just throw them out. No need for violence. |
Question: | Is this safe for succulents |
Answer: | I think a wide nozzle would work better than what the sprayer has on it |
Question: | i was thinking about using this in a worm compost bin. has anyone had experience with this? is it harmful to worms |
Answer: | I'm sure wherever a bed bug walks across it will die, but you'd have to spray mattresses, sheets and all . |
Question: | Does Raid kill centerpieces |
Answer: | It works on any bug. Here in AZ in the summer time the bugs go for the air conditioned home and I spray around my house on the outside mainly and the buys stay out. Be careful on the inside - strong stuff. Works wonderful. I always have a couple on hand for the summer. |
Question: | works with mosquitos |
Answer: | No pumping . Like the bottle! Love it! |
Question: | does it work on bed bugs |
Answer: | Yes and yes. Atleast where I used it had no problem |
Question: | Does this work on flies |
Answer: | I do not own the 25-ft 12/3 lighted extension cord, but I do own the 6-ft one made by the same manufacturer. The 6-ft 12/3 heavy duty indoor/outdoor extension cord was made in China. Hope that helps. |
Question: | Does this sprayer have to be pumped or is it battery operated like the trigger bottle |

User questions & answers
Question: | Can this kill cockroach |
Answer: | Yes it is. It would kill both inside and outside moths.I have birds and moths are one of the problems I use it for.Raid is a good killing product...So be sure to not to spray and allow kids or birds in a direct path. Usually one 2 or 3 seconds shot is enough to knock them out of the air and kill....at least the household ones...But if you've got larger Moths--then you might need a longer blast ! |
Question: | Is the delivery timely |
Answer: | This particular brand of raid has a unique aroma. It is not overly chemical, more on the lighter side. The smell dissipates after a minute or two, then you don't smell it. This is my go to for spot killing a bug. Works instantly. You can't find this product in stores anymore. so good old Amazon to the rescue. Don't understand the spraying over carpet reference, unless you see a but and zap it on the spot. To just spray your carpet to have a lasting effect, I don't think it's intended for that. Hope this helps. |
Question: | Is Vivo a bug killer |
Answer: | I doubt it - I only put it directly on a plant when I'm so fed up with the bugs that I figure it's worth it if the plant dies too - but you might spray it on to kill the bugs and then rinse off the plant - probably would need to mix a soap solution to spray on first. I'd only use it on a plant as a last resort, personally. |
Question: | Is this good for killing moths |
Answer: | Saw this suggested to be used on a website as follows for worms:"I have had my bin set up for about two months and had an explosion of mites. I got my worms from unclejims so I called and asked about the proplem and they said eventually the mites will go after the worms! they told me to use raid home and graden spray to kill the mites and that it wont hurt my worms. they said to lightly mist the areas where most of the mites are."That was from 2010. |

Answer: | You just spray it (on the carpet, furniture, bedding, etc) and you're doneI put our pets in another room while spraying. When the entire house is done, i give our petd the run of the house again. I generally have to repeat the process every 1 - 2 weeks. Did this all last summer and just started again this week...Aren't fleas a royal pain? !!! |
Question: | Do i have to leave my house for hours or days if i sprayed every room? I used a whole 16 oz can |
Answer: | You do not need to leave your home. The spray has a pleasant smell. I sprayed my house to two consecutive days and didn't have any problems. |
