Answer:	I bought this and have not tried it but I imagine if you put down the drain and go to bed it may work. I wouldn't run the water till the morning so it wouldn't be diluted. Roaches also love popping up from the seal around the sink and counter. Also from behind and under the back splash. In those hard to get in cracks I purchased a rose duster for a few bucks and used it under the house, holes in walls cracks in the wall, pulled out the kitchen drawers and dusted the area inside, under and behind all appliances and gaps, in the attic. I noticed Roaches coming in from outside so that's why I dusted the crawl space and attic. Good luck.

Terro is a sweet bait; grease eating ants are attracted to protein. They might go for Terro; however if protein sources are still to be found in your house they will probably ignore the bait. I haven't had a problem with grease eating ants, but I understand that from folks who have that the Combat formula is better for attracting grease eating ants. You can also make your own baits for grease eaters by mixing boric acid (a white powder you can find in drugs stores or hardware stores) with peanut butter. Just make sure that the bait is out of reach of kids and animals (I have used boric acid/watermelon bait successfully with sweet-eating ants. However, it can only be used indoors, as sun dries it up and rain washes it away.) Good Luck!

Answer:	Yes absolutely I had the worst ant problem I have ever seen when I moved into my new home. They moved in because of a drought in Texas. The first two days I did not see much of a difference and was about to write a bad review, but I had to go out of town, I left and when I came back the next week there were no more ants, not a single one, in fact it has been almost a year and I still haven't seen one inside or outside since. This stuff is amazing. Also my dog ate 2 of the yard baits we were worried he would get sick but he was perfectly fine that's a plus also.

Answer:	Carpenter ants infest every tree on my property and I found them foraging inside the garage (very bad news). Mostly for the garage, but also because I have one very nice pin oak, I placed 2 of these just inside the garage door and at the base of the tree and within 1 month no more ants. So, I guess it works on carpenter ants. However, if you use the trap per the package instructions the carpenter ants are too large to enter. What you do instead is push down and rotate as instructed to puncture the internal pouch then very carefully lift the cup back up to its original position and snap it into place. This opens the trap all the way around an the carpenter ants can enter. I intend to buy more as it works on almost every ant on my property. And that's a lot of different types of ants. You might also try Bayer Advance 375A. Its a protein based poison and if the ants don't have a sweet tooth that day they go for it. The terro traps make excellent bait stations for the 375A once the liquid is gone.

Answer:	Description states ideal for indoor and outdoor use. Use it in kitchen, but not on counter/food prep area

Answer:	If you putting it into cracks or holes that ants are entering house from yes. Don't just spray around in open areas, there are other products for that. This is like a gel that fills holes and cracks and it stays there to keep killing.

Answer:	I would use this foam and the spray and the powder just to be on the safe side. I find the spray works well on trees and foam works well into holes and cracks. That said I have not used this on termites only ants and carpenter ants

Answer:	If you find the source. My understanding Carpenter ants spread their colony with the flying ants. Find the source or nest where the queen is and spray foam into holes or cracks and regular spray ants on their backs so they carry into the nest and powder in a circle around the whole colony the nest will possibly collapse

Question:	Why is the pricing so weird? It's actually 2x more in bulk! Did someone make a mistake? Sorry for the rhetorical question, silly vendor person
Answer:	It has to do with who the actual "seller" is. If you select a quantity of "1", in this case, it is "sold and fulfilled" by Amazon. If you select a quantity of "2" it is "sold" by another company while still being "fulfilled" by Amazon. Yes, both quantities are, as of this writing, "fulfilled" by Amazon but that just tells you that Amazon stores, packages, and ships both items(1 and 2 packs) even though there are, in reality, two different "sellers". If you click back and forth on the quantity selector you'll see the "sold by" name change. Look just under the price after you switch. The seller of the 2 pack sets the price whereas the seller of the 1 pack(Amazon) sets its own price. I'm sure Amazon buys the 1 pack in very large quantities and, therefore, can get a bigger discount, per piece, than the other "seller" can get, per piece, for the 2-pack.
Question:	How safe is this product in the kitchen? We have a few ants crawling around our kitchen sink and would like to place one of these bait stations on our kitchen counter. Bad idea? Thanks
Answer:	This is a generally safe product according to my research. Make sure to read the packaging and follow direction. (FOR INDOOR USE READ THE FOLLOWING) One lesson I learned the hard way: the sugary syrup is irresistible to ants, even though it is laced with poison. This means when you use Tarro, you're actually providing access to free food! The poison will work on the ants and it takes about 18-24 hours to kill them... but as you wait after 24 hours, Tarro syrup will attract other thriving colonies into your home. They'll follow the same rich trails laid behind by the previous colony and even scavenge on the carcases of the previously fallen colony. This cycle will continue, attracting ants from far away reaches and allowing them to setup massive colonies within your home. This is especially true with Argentine ants (available throughout the world), which form massive colonies with multiple queens - a trait unique to this type of ant, whereas others will battle for territory. So the lesson learned is simple... once the initial 1 or 2 swarms die down, remove all baits and all forms of food from open spaces in your home; patch up all openings in walls, baseboards, cracks around windows, etc; apply perimeter pesticide around your home; and look for signs of wandering ants in the next week. If you see more ants then you missed an opening and already have an established colony in your wall.... repeat!! Just don't leave out Tarro and keep replenishing, especially in the case of Argentine ants.
Question:	Is this safe to have around pets? I have a curious cat
Answer:	I'd say no. My cat knocked one of these over once and licked the syrup. She was fine but it wasn't a fun afternoon (trip to the vet, etc.). Terro sells a version of this that encloses the bait in plastic and has sticky squares to attach them to the floor, counter, or other surfaces. I use those instead now.
Question:	I have a baby in the house and I would like to use this product to kill ants in my house. Any precautions you suggest before I use this product
Answer:	The ant trails at my house sometimes go from the floor to the ceiling. I turn the bait so that the liquid will not run out and use Scotch tape to tape it to the wall next to the ant trail. I tape the bait high enough that babies and grand children cannot get to it. It usually takes two days for the ants to disappear. Then three days after they disappear, they return to the trap. Another two days and they disappear again. The second time they disappear is usually the last time I see them at that location.

How Liquid Ant Bait Works

Since this is a bait, initially you will see more ants – but don’t worry, this is a good thing. Why? As ants forage for food, they are easily attracted to the sweet, sugary liquid inside the bait stations. After finding the bait, worker ants consume it and leave behind a pheromone trail leading back to the colony. This trail lets other worker ants know where the newly discovered food supply is. This is why you will see more ants in the beginning.

Meanwhile, the active ingredient, Borax, is slowly interfering with the ant’s digestive system, ultimately killing it, but leaving enough time for the ant to go back and share the dose with the rest of the colony. This slow kill is necessary so that foraging ants can make several trips to the bait. The communal nature of an ant colony allows the bait to be spread to hundreds, if not thousands, of individual ants.

How to Use Liquid Ant Baits

TERRO Liquid Ant Baits are very easy to use. Before placing the bait stations, be sure to remove other sources of food, such as crumbs, sugar and grease spots to prevent attracting ants elsewhere. Do not place bait where you’ve already sprayed insecticides, as the pests may avoid the bait stations.

1. Hold the bait station firmly with bait pack tab facing up. Break off the tab being careful not to spill the bait.
