Question:	How does this work compared to the scarecrow? need to keep a herring out of my Koi pond
Answer:	I have used this on my Koi pond for many years now with great success. So I don't get sprayed during the day.... my water supply has a battery timer.... The timer is set for 10PM tp 8 AM..... so simple..... works great and I can set the time for it to work.
Question:	There seems to be an additional part in my package that is about 2" long and 1" high that is not part of assembly instructions. Any clue as to what this is
Answer:	The extra item drove me nuts for about 30 minutes. Until i figured out that it is simply a screw on replacement part so the "helmet head sensor" can be mounted by sliding the square part on the "valve square front. This lowers the "Helmet sensor" to be about eye level with like a rabbit or cat. Simply unscrew the all black small round knob that is on the "helmet sensor" remove the screw and remove the piece you just detached (the 4 inch bracket that has a round hole that would normally fit the vertical pipe shaft. Now replace that 4 inch part with the smaller 2 inch long part that has a square end and a round end. Push the screw thru the round end and into your "helmet sensor" (it only fits one way), then hook it/slide it onto the sensors square front. The "helmet sensor" now just sits there, not exactly a secured in a long term way but i guess it works.
Question:	What happens if a human steps on the lawn? Will that turn on and spray on a person? I don't want it ends up spraying on myself
Answer:	Yes, if you trigger the motion detection, and you are in the area of spray, you will get sprayed, just like a deer or rabbit would. If you need to be there and don't want to get sprayed, you will need to turn it off temporarily.

Answer:	Don't know about the 62100 but yes you can adjust the stream from narrow to wide width. Mine are still going strong! Great product!
Question:	Does this work for Ducks
Answer:	Basically any motion in front of the sensor will cause the sprinkler to activate. I test it by just passing my hand in front of it. There is no reason it would not work for ducks, if aimed low enough. This device is fairly sturdy and reliable, but I will add it needs to be monitored - make sure the water is turned on, the sensor and sprinkler are properly aimed and change the batteries twice a year.
Question:	Has anyone successfully used this on neighbors that walk their dogs in your front yard
Answer:	It will sense a medium/large dog 50-60 feet away, and spray water almost that far.
Question:	what's the difference between the orbit enforcer and the 62100 yard enforcer
Answer:	VERY IMPORTANT FEEDBACK.... The Orbit Yard Enforcer Model 62100 -HAS- sensing settings of NIGHT, DAY, ALWAYS and OFF. This is VERY important if you want night-only coverage for animals such as deer. I cannot use the DAY or ALWAYS settings because it will spray me when I'm working in the yard.The Orbit Enforcer model 62000 -ONLY- has and ON or OFF setting. It will -NOT- turn itself on or off at sundown/sunrise like the model 62100 will.

Question:	I would like to use 2 or 4 jet sprays. Would I be able to hook all four up to my garden hose
Answer:	I'm not sure what the people answering this are smoking, but one of the pictures shows clearly that these can be connected in series, unit to unit to unit with the only limitation being your water pressure. Since they're typically not all going off at the same time, I would expect with normal household water pressure you could use at least 5. Bear in mind that these are off most of the time, and a garden hose acts as a pressure vessel. expanding slightly under pressure, so even with the spigot turned only partway on, you will get a full blast for the couple of seconds needed. So, no manifold is required unless hooking them in series is not an efficient layout for your situation.
Question:	Does it just spray in one direction? Not sure how to protect garden in the middle of my yard
Answer:	It sprays in a circular motion and It has an adjustment lever where you can control the direction of the spray. I have mine set for spraying 180 degrees ( half circle)

Question:	How big is the angle of detection on the sensor
Answer:	Yes it works great at night! I get a sly smile when I hear the sprinkler turn on and whatever critter is in its pass try to get away alone the fence or house! During the day it will pick up the movement of your plants and turn on the sprinkler. We just let it run because the water didn't hurt the garden any, but that does wear the batteries out quicker. I was just too lazy to go turn them off in the morning and back on at evening. These are well worth the money. One more tip, don't let them freeze. Get them inside before the cold nights begin or you will have to replace the unit.

Question:	will it detect chipmunks
Answer:	I assume this uses a Passive Infrared Motion Sensor which is actually a heat sensor - it detects infrared energy emitted as heat by humans and animals and when there is a sudden increase in infrared energy it sets the motion sensor to do whatever it was designed to do - turn on a light, an alarm or in this case a spray of water. Wind moving a shrub should not increase the ambient infrared energy.
Question:	Will wind moving shrubs set these off
Answer:	Dial the sensitivity knob to zero and then you can walk in front of it, or if you have it set to spray in a 360 degree arc, shut off the water.

Answer:	I returned this item. I was not able to keep it from leaking despite plumbers tape, new washers, etc. I also found it very difficult to set up without getting drenched with water. I do not recommend it.

And it is waterproof, so that it will not be influenced by the water. Besides, this water sprinkler works independently and will not affect others.

Answer:	We use it with a Galcon 9001D Hose End Tap Timer with Programmable LCD Display, which is one of the rare irrigation timers that connects to a hose and can be programmed to come on for more than 4 hours. We set the timer to come on every night from 10pm to 6am, and it keeps raccoons out of the yard without spraying our cats during the day.

Answer:	You can adjust the field in which it sprays but yes, anyone moving into sensor view will set it off. I have mine set so the walkway is just out of the spray area but we set it off every time we walk by.
Question:	Does it get rid of raccoons
Answer:	Yes, it got rid of my raccoons anyway. They were defecating on our waterfall. I put the scarecrow on one side aiming for the waterfall. I didn't get any more "deposits" for at least 2 weeks. Then I noticed a "deposit" on the other side (out of scarecrow's reach) next to the waterfall. I almost bought an extra one but thought about it first and tried a clever and cheaper route. I moved the scarecrow to the side...The raccoons therefore THOUGHT I had scarecrows on both sides and thusly avoided both sides due to paranoid conditioned response. It's been a couple of months and no more "surprises".
Question:	It says it releases a sort burst. Is that distance or time? And how long does it spray? Seconds, minutes or hours
Answer:	The short burst has to do with time - about 1 to 2 seconds upon detection of movement. Depending on your water pressure, the spray can go 20 to 30 feet.
