Answer:	I think you are saying a mouse "ate" through the cable? My cat ate through mine - the company replied to my comment saying to get a 5mm cable - however the cable we got apparently isn't enough wattage and basically killed the two seperate functions. Likely will have to replace the unit unless the company can provide a direct link to a cable that we can purchase.

Answer:	I had an indoor flea problem. I didn't use this stuff but I bombed the entire house with a bug bomb. I may have even used two. It did nothing. Answer:	Thats a good QUESTION. I dont know I would call Bayer and talk to them. Also make sure you read the MSDS INFORMATION and the instructions on how to speead it. Bayer is good for killing fleas and ticks. It lasts three months and use it untill the out door temps hit 90* or above. I live in Jax Fl. I use a comertial pest controll service year round and I have them spray for fleas during the 90* hot summer months. Comertial liquid poisen kills the fleas and ticks above 90*. I either just dump the bag in my spreader or sometimes use rubber gloves and speead it around the foundation of my house to kill roaches before they have a chance to get in. Also, BAYER does not kill anything if you use it during the hot days of summer when the tempature is above 90*. I called Bayer and read it on the MSDS sheet. Hope I helped you out. Answer:	I would screen your chimney. But yes it will kill them the unit would have to be close to the opening. Note this makes a loud pop when a bug gets in the gris. NOTE: Bugs fly in front of the grid but does not get in it. I took a piece of furnace duct metal, cut a square init with a 1" flange sticking out the back , mounted a small bathroom exhaust fan to it. I then mounted the fan and metal plate to the back of the unit. the fan now sucks the bugs into the grid. Makes a 300 to 400 % improvement in bug kills. ( I should get a sizable royalty from the manufacturer for tilling them how to improve it.)

Answer:	when it worked it killed anything that flew into it, however mine only lasted about a month, used it in my kitchen indoors. It is not battery, you need a outlet. One other thing to note, it is loud when killing, I mean really loud pop. about 3 times as loud as other bug zappers.

Answer:	This product is hazardous to humans and domestic animals. Mostly because of the dust. Breathing it was a not good. The way it works is the insects eat it and it destroys them from the inside. I’m not familiar with food grade DE. I use pool grade DE in my job and you don’t want to breathe it either.

THE POWER OF CEDAR OIL. Cedar oil affects octopamine, which is essential to life for pheromone-driven pests (like fleas and ticks) as it is responsible for regulating heart rate, movement and behavior in insect pests. Cedar oil blocks the octopamine neurotransmitter receptors in pests, causing pests to be repelled from the area. When contacted, pests suffocate and die.
