Answer:	The user's own audio sensitivity is what is really being highlighted here. Some folks hear a clicking, some hear a high pitched squeal, and others hear nothing at all. I have several types of this sonic repeller and notice no undue noise, Various visitors, however, have commented on a very annoying squeal. Since people's audio sensitivity differs widely, I just can't say what you will experience, So far, my own household experience is that about 1 out of 8 hear the "squeal". Since the units I use are by various manufacturers and not just the B & H, I really can't pinpoint the source of the squeal. On the plus side, the mice have disappeared.

Answer:	It doesn't work at night. It doesn't work during the day, if you are asking whether it is repelling any animal friend. The animals simply ignore its red light sensor.

Answer:	I've never heard it. My neighbor had cats wonder in and out his yard all the time-which upset my dogs-until I installed several of these units. They work great for me.

Answer:	They have models that work up to 50, 30, and 20 feet. This one I believe works up to 30 feet. For specific information on this model and all others, visit their web site. I own four. I purchased 2 last year to keep the squirrels away from my fruit trees. And this year I've purchased 2 more to keep the neighbors dog out of my yard. As long as you place them where they will receive adequate sun light to recharge the batteries they will work fine. However, the rechargeable batteries included are of low quality. And did not last for more than a season. I purchase new rechargeable batteries (amazon brand) and placed them in the older units and they are working just as well as the newer ones. I haven't seen any squirrels, rabbits, stray dogs or cats in my yard in over a year.
