If you are really concerned, put some of that tape that has two sticky sides on the bottom of the bait. We put ours in drawers, under appliances and behind furniture. We especially targeted the kitchen and baths. You will also have to keep your grass short otherwise the roaches can hide there. Also, keep all leaves and other debris swept from all outside walls of your home. Be especially careful about spilled water and food crumbs.Other than that, check the bates every week. | Answer: | The first question is whether your cat can ingest the "poison". The bait stations are little plastic containers. They have small openings that the roaches go through to get to the bait. I doubt a cat could get its tongue through such a small opening. But they could possibly chew through the plastic container. The second question is if the car did eat the bait, would it harm them?The active ingredient is Fipronil. This is The primary ingredient in many flea treatment products for pets. So dogs and cats apparently tolerate Fipronil well. Fipronil is the active ingredient of this product and is only 1/200 of the bait so the amount contained is very small.given that it is difficult to get at, the amount is very small and Fipronil is already used on cats. .. this world seem to be pet safe.But ultimately you need to make that decision. I would ask your vet about whether your cat could be harmed if they ingested Fipronil from a roach bait trap.i hope this info is helpful. | Answer: | Yes. The battery comes off just like a standard power tool, but has a port in it for the charger plugin. It says not to overcharge, that is don't leave it connected for days on end. The charger light turns from red to green when charged. Despite the negative comments, it works well on car tires or bicycles for awhile before needing recharge. I don't particularly like the screw on hose connection, as when you unscrew, some air leaks out, but not much - prefer quick disconnect but didn't see an alternative anywhere. The easy portability is the main feature and digital shutoff. |
