Question:	So some the auger is riveted on and one says it is plastic and comes off. Which is it? I want it to come off so don't have to turn whole umbrella
Answer:	You don't have to turn the whole umbrella. The umbrella's pole comes apart. The auger is attached to the bottom half of the pole, and there is a small metal rod that fits thru two holes toward the top of the pole that you use as a handle. You "screw" this part of the pole into the sand and then attach the umbrella with the upper half of the pole. We used ours last summer -- it's really very convenient and sturdy.

Answer:	As in the description, there are 16 fiberglass ribs. The fabric is stronger than most umbrellas I have seen and it is 8' which is a great size. We love it and highly recommend

Answer:	To the best of my knowledge, no. Virtually all these umbrellas have one height but can be tilted (as shown) to various angles to compensate for the breeze/wind. We have always used umbrellas with more than 8 struts...they are sturdier & last longer. This one is very similar to our previous ones & they all worked well. Note: you always need a deep anchor to secure them in the sand. The short ones don't work for long.

Answer:	It does not have a silver coating. I can not tell you if you can shine a flashlight through the fabric, I have not tied to do that. I can say that we did not have a problem keeping it in the sand it stayed in the ground when it was windy. we did use a shovel to dig a whole to put up all three of our umbrella's and this one held up against the wind the best. I ended up having to close all of our umbrella's because it got so windy it was not safe to keep any of them up.

Answer:	I would estimate about 6 1/2' definitely not over 7'. Of course, it depends on how far you put it in the ground. Also, I would recommend one of those twist type umbrella holder. It is a must for windy days, and fits into the umbrella case with the "blade" side sticking out.

Question:	Has anyone taken this umbrella to myrtle beach? the max size is 7.5 ft. and this is 8 ft.diameter ! were you able to use it
Answer:	During summer months, umbrellas up to seven-and-a-half feet in diameter are allowed in line with or behind the established umbrella line, but no other shading devices are permitted. The EasyGo Rainbow Beach Umbrella I see says it is 7 ft in diameter. You should be fine.
Question:	What is the uva/ uvb protection
Answer:	I have no idea but have used the umbrella for a number of months in the Florida sun. there has been little or no fading and I am 100% satisfied with the product.
Question:	What is the height after assembly
Answer:	This beach umbrella has been completely redesigned in July 2015 so that it now has a much stronger and thicker wall pole than any beach umbrella on the market. The pole was increased from 32mm to 35mm in size but also the thickness of the pole walls was increased to make it very durable. With this change the pole is now completely adjustable in height since the top pole now slides fully into the bottom pole there is locking pins that goes into 3 different holes and locking lever for height adjustments from 3ft to 6ft (valance to ground) or total height adjustment of 64" to 90". Now you can lower the umbrella to further fight high winds and get more shade.
Question:	How much does this umbrella weigh
Answer:	It fits in a trunk. There are two pieces to it. If you anchor it the way one of the responders suggests it isn't going to blow away. I had a dowel stick cut to fit down inside the one that goes into the sand. I had a PVC pipe cut for the top part to reinforce that part. Read all the comments and you will find the one that I read to make the modifications
