I’d like to guess in a nice thought/poor delivery method..(hopefully) a) it’s rounder to cover you when rain is blowing at all angles (no gal wants to walk into work with wet hair or running makeup) b) maybe cause females need to see what’s going on around them (aka: muggers/weirdos ... predators.?.) in a rainy environment (shrug). Only reason this 60+ mom looked up this umbrella, was my (31 yr old) daughter wanted one so she would not look like a drowned hen when she got to work, what with our windy/down pours lately. And how expensive they were. The whole “tampon” thing made me chuckle.. had to respond. The safety part came as a momma bear thing. Answer:	We haven't had a big storm in Maryland since we purchased our umbrella but it is sturdy. I would think that with the dome shape top it would be more difficult to get blown inside out.

Answer:	I would NOT buy the kids size for a 10 year old unless he/she is a very small 10 year old. I just received the kids size for my 9 year old today and I'm returning it. I ordered the full size for myself and love it. I'll get a full size for my daughter too and she can perfectly use it now and as she gets older as well. The kids size is suitable for a much younger child or a child who is very small in size.

We also would recommend putting some type of pad under the touch points to alleviate any wear on the corners where they touch the patio. Answer:	The green one doesn't seem to have the rain flaps at the roofline that the 9879 for sure has. That's the only difference I see. You could use wind panels on the 9821, but it won't keep rain out.

Answer:	That might work, but you have to modify how you attach it to the inside of the tent. There is a way to attach to the out side of the tent using the hooks. What I did was make a bar that attaches to the upright bars on each side of the door. Attach the panel to the cross bar. The next upgraded unit the Pavillion has it already built in, but it is $150-$175 more and it is 150" wide and 9 feet tall. Hope this information helps.

Answer:	Does not have to be “correct.” Just read the side of pole and pick base you like. The base should be heavy so it holds the umbrella and doesn’t become unstable during nasty weather. I bought a reasonable heavy base from a chain store and had it delivered.

Question:	What color is the pole
Answer:	With the umbrella closed, unzip the zipper at the top of the canopy. Slide the canopy down and off. Install is reverse. After zipping the top, slightly open the umbrella and then put the frame arms in the pockets on the underneath. Done and easy.

Question:	my cover measures 57" would i need a 9 foot umbrella or a 10 foot one..? since 57 +57 ends up being
