Answer:	Bought this cover about 9 months ago. The zipper seems to hold up the best so far for me. My issue with it has been the hole that has formed at the top from very windy conditions that caused the solar panel on the umbrella to poke through. I decided to line the top inside portion of the cover with heavy duty duck tape and that seems to work. The material the cover is made out of is very thin and not wind resistant. It is water resistant though.

Answer:	The zipper fell off the first time I used it. I got a full refund and purchased one from my local garden center (OSH) in California. I paid more but have had no issues with that one.

Answer:	I think yes! I used the second instruction ( filled with water and sand) and they turned really heavy and made my unberella truly stable! I don't know about Aldi store umbrella.

Answer:	I don't recommend it. We filled these with small pea pebbles which were easier to pour into the hole or opening of the bases. The Abba comes with a flimsy funnel and thus I believe concrete would make a mess. Concrete will also dry very quickly and might produce air pockets making the volume to weight ratio less effective. Keep in mind that our umbrella remained stationary throughout the winter with the Abba filled with pebbles while our heavy cast iron 9' table and chairs were blown across our deck. I couldn't believe how strong the wind was! Meanwhile, the umbrella didn't move an inch. Copy and paste the following link to home depot for the pebbles. Answer:	Hi Geri, depends on where you place it for your use. It is designed to go behind furniture and extend out over the area you want shaded, so I would say that stubbing your toes should not be a problem under most situations. I love this over a standard straight umbrella.

Question:	what is the diameter of the pole in inches
Answer:	The wand folds when not in use. You unfold it & it is supposed to reach the top of the umbrella so you can lift the cover on & off from the ground. To me, that will work if you are a certain height. I rarely fool with it. I just get a folding step stool.
Question:	I love this umbrella but somehow I can't figure out how to use the tilt mechanism
Answer:	First time I opened zipper it came off the top track! There were no end stops on tracks. It took me about 10 minutes to get the zipper aligned and attached to the tracks again. I sewed the top end tracked together so the zipper will not come off again. It works great now that I fixed it, but this is a obvious defect that needs to be dealt with by the manufacturer.

Answer:	You need some type of counter weight at the base to keep it stable. You can buy bags that fill with sand but thats expensive. Go to Home Depot and by four 16 in. x 16 in. x 1.75 in. River Red Square Concrete Step Stone (or other colors). It fits perfectly at the base and has held up in high winds, but close the umbrella.

Answer:	I use it like a pole to raise the cover up high enough to put the unzipped cover over the top of the closed umbrella. The zipper string hangs down just far enough to zip the cover shut from the top. Then I store the 3 piece pole inside the main pole in the small gap there. Works perfectly!

Answer:	Only had the umbrella for a short time. But we’ve had intense heat and the umbrella looks fine. I would think for the price and what it’s intended for, it should stand up to the sun. Nothing lasts forever but it wouldn’t hurt to do it I guess.

Answer:	not in the south it doesnt.....seems to have many very small pin holes in canopy for whatever reason you can feel heat of sun come through.....yes its better than no canopy over your head but not by much. will not buy another for this reason

Question:	Will this work with their 10x6 umbrella
Answer:	I haven’t traveled with it, but think it would be pretty easy to pack up. Because the umbrella is a “nylony” sort of fabric, it is much lighter and folds up much more compactly than any other patio umbrella I’ve ever had. Also the pole is 2 pieces so you won’t have so much length to stow. That being said, how do you want to use it when you get to your destination. It’s definitely not designed stick in the ground or the sand, but the cranking mechanism and tilt are smooth and easy so easy to take it up and down frequently.
Question:	What is the height of the hand screw knobs on the pole for 1.5" diameter umbrella? Our table has cross supports between 5.5" and 8" off the ground
Answer:	I rarely have mine up more than an hour (must keep it down due to wind), but have never had it go down at all by itself.

Answer:	Mine is a bronze-sh color. Definitely not black or brown. Closer to the oil rubbed bronze faucets, etc.
