Answer:	Dominick, thank you for your question. Yes, the BUBrella has the maximum UV Rating of 50 UPF And endorsed by the Skin Cancer Foundation. UPF relates to clothing and shelters and the maximum rating is 50 whereas SPF relates to lotion and has a maximum rating of 100.
Question:	Does the canopy angle adjust at all? How do you deal with the late afternoon sun? The base looks like you can only have the pole straight up
Answer:	Thank you for your question. There are 2 main reason for the tilt feature in a beach umbrella. The BUBrella addresses both. First, tilt features are built into beach umbrellas to help with wind resistance. The BUBrella does not need this feature to withstand 35 mph wind. Second, as the sun sets tilting the umbrella helps to shade the setting sun. The beachBUB system uses a different approach to block the rays of the setting sun. Simply tilt the umbrella and base as a single unit. In order to tilt the whole umbrella you first build the base as you normally would making sure that you completely fill and pack the sand as you fill. Insert and open the umbrella. Gently, and with constant pressure, tilt the umbrella into the suns' rays. The umbrella has been tested to tilt up to 45 degrees. When you have blocked the sun all you need to do is re-fill the base if any sand has dribbled out. Also the pyramid shape of the base may become distorted but this will not affect the performance of the base or umbrella.
Question:	Are you sure I'll be able to take the kids to the beach without my husband? I've been staying at home baking cookies and knitting when he's at work
Answer:	I understand the snark on this question, but the truth is, I have never been able to get an umbrella screwed 18-24" (the safe depth) into the sand by myself. If my husband felt at all emasculated by my choosing this umbrella, he quickly got over it on the first day when his sister's umbrella (screwed into the ground by her 6'2" tall athletic husband) blew out of the sand, knocked me over, and pinned me underneath. Meanwhile, our new BeachBub that we can BOTH put up was rock stable. Moral of the story: Get one regardless of your gender and stop being so sensitive.

Answer:	The blanket is a snug fit in the pouch and our new shipment due in a few weeks has a larger pouch to make it easier. To roll up, just fold it in four lengthwise, roll it up tightly from the end without the strap, slip the strap around it and then slide into its pouch.
Question:	I’m 6’-2”, can I stand or walk under it comfortably without ducking
Answer:	It is too thick for any spider to bite through it. Obviously it is a possibility that a spider could crawl on or under it.
Question:	Do you have dimensions on the umbrella handle, like the width & length
Answer:	Yes it is. We recommend washing on a delicate cycle with cold water. It can then be either dried in a drier on a low heat, or hung out to dry on the line.
Question:	I am concerned that the black color will provide "hotter" shade than the silver color. Can anyone tell me their experience between the two colors
Answer:	When the blanket is unfolded it is 82 x 55 inches. When it is rolled up and in the stuff sack it measures 14 inches long by approximately 6 inches in diameter. This diameter varies depending how tightly it is rolled up. The stuff sack is a generous size now, so that even if it is not rolled real tight, it will still fit. Question:	Will it fit a square pole
Answer:	I have the black and red model and I really don't think it would make much difference. I walked 18 yesterday in 97 degree heat and a clear sky and was quite comfortable. I think just having shade from the direct sunlight is sufficient. I do draw the line at 100 degrees however an opt for a cart. Good luck!!!

If your pole is smaller than that you can build the collar up by wrapping the pole with electrical tape or duct tape so that when the collar is tightened it will hold tight to the pole. Answer:	Yes, you can adjust the height by moving the umbrella pole (inside base pole) up and down and then clamp when you have it set to the height you want it. In order to have a tilt, you just can’t have it at the lowest setting.

Answer:	If you are referring to the screw used at the top to tighten the umbrella in place, I believe this is a custom piece. The dimension of threads are as follows: 19/32" OD without thread, 5/8 with thread, screw length ~1.25" (note addition .5 in goes inside the handle. Threads are square cut. Question:	So how is ABS plastic stronger than metal as it says in the description
Answer:	I'm not calling it stronger, but I am calling it more suitable for the application. ABS is very durable, and has more "give" than a steel one. Therefore, if you have your umbrella anchored in an odd angle, rather than putting a dent in the metal version, this would spring back. Also, ABS won't rust like a steel one would after a season at the beach.
Question:	They say "full replacement warranty if any parts break!". Is there a time limit on this? I read 30 days which isn't much of a time frame

Question:	will this hold a 1.5 inch diameter pole
Answer:	I measured the inside diameter of the Beachr and it is exactly 1 1/2 inches. Your pole would most likely fit tightly but you wouldn't be able to tighten the screw very much. My umbrella pole is 1 inch in diameter so there is more room to tighten the screw to the pole. Hope this helps somewhat.
