Question:	Are these awnings okay to leave up all year long? I live on the coast in California
Answer:	I live in Florida and so far OK, except they are fading a bit and we are in the middle of hurricane season, so we will see how they do.
Question:	I need an awning that is 6ft wide for over an entry door. Will this work
Answer:	The one problem is that they hang down 2 feet so if you can visualize that. I placed the tops 12 inches above my windows to be able to see out adequately.

Answer:	Yes. The frame included a cord which will let you roll up or let down the awning. The frame is quite strong and can withstand up to about 15 mph wind. In strong wind condition, roll up the awning and it will do fine. We had gusts of 50 mph winds and it had no damage (rolled up of course).
