First, I'd like to inform you that the old version will no longer be available to purchase soon as they are outdated. However, the new version has some really great features that make it a much easier experience and a lot safer. The finger guard on the newer version is bigger making it easier to function and aids better in the protection of fingers. There is a non-skid base which allows for more stability as well as a notch that can be placed over the edge of a bowl so as to easily collect food. Also, the thickness adjustment dial is bigger and easier to grasp. While the Benriner blades will last a lifetime, it is always recommended to have the most up to date version. Answer:	Yes are, you actually should be able to find them on amazon, as the Benriner slicer comes in different sizes, you need to make sure you are ordering the one for your particular model.

Answer:	I bought the wide one and you can put a potato sideways on it. I guess it depends what you will slice on it, but the wide one gives more leeway.

Inside mounted shades will have a deduction taken of approximately 0.2" to ensure a proper fit inside the window frame.

Inside mounted shades require a minimum frame depth of 2inch for secure installation. If your window frame depth is less than 2inch please select outside mount.



Outside mounted shades should be ordered with the exact width of the area you wish to cover.

INSIDE MOUNT MEASUREMENT:

Step 1.Measure the inside frame width at three locations-the top,middle,and bottom. Record the smallest of the 3 measurements and use that number as your inside width when ordering.

Step 2. Measure the height at 3 locations-the left,middle,and right side. Record the smallest of the 3 measurements and use the number as your inside width when ordering.

OUTSIDE MOUNT MEASUREMENT:

Step 1. Measure the outside frame width adding 3-6inch to be the outside mount width.

Step 2. Measure the outside frame length adding 4-6inch to be the outside mount length. The overlap it recommended to allow appropriate coverage and avoid any light gaps.

Installation Notes

1. Thread the cloth strip into the ruffle of the front fabric
2. Thread the fabric into any groove of the roll tube
3. Roll the tube, press the fabric into the second groove with the pressure plate, and insert the cloth strip to fix the fabric. (Do not use sharp tools to press the fabric to prevent damage to the fabric)
4. Thread the drawstring into the last groove.
