Answer:	Hello! We don't test our products to a weight limit. We test to ASTM Standards. This Polywood Presidential Rocker passed a 400 lb static load test. It also passed an impact test that drops 150 lbs ten times from a height of 8". These are both a limit to pass as commercial grade. This is the best standard that we test to at this time. Question:	What is the material? The description says "polywood lumber" then the amazon compare items says it's made of plastic. Are they both right
Answer:	Yes. My understanding is that polywood “lumber” is made of recycled plastic bags. My polywood rocking chairs are very heavy — heavier than the wooden rockers that they replace. They do not shrink and swell, like the old wood ones, and don’t need to be repainted. For me, this is a big plus. You did not ask, but I’ll give you my observation about colors. My white chairs are lovely, resembling pristine painted white chairs. But I have seen dark green polywood and red polywood. Neither color equals the visual appeal of classic dark green or red painted chairs.

Our outside bar is 42 inches from ground to the top of the bar, and these chairs work very well.Even though cushions are not needed, I am thinking of adding a cushion will might then raise the height of the seat up 1-3 inches.Hope this helps.
