Answer:	The first of times it is a bit tight but it will loosen. If you can get your finger between the 2 edges and have someone help pull the table in the opposite direction you can open it. Just close and open it a few times and it will get easier.

Answer:	I really dont know a true answer to that, the only thing i know will work for sure is spray paint, not the gallon paint
